I realize that I have indeed erred when I mentioned the first proposal, but I still feel that the second is still valid, seems easy to implement, and could be helpful. How difficult would it be to add the name of the phase on the lower-left corner as an advanced option?

I hadn't realized that this was true for dusk and dawn, though now I see it is. Perhaps the same could be done for day and night, but instead of switching the bodies, we just move the sun/moon from one side to the other.
