Re: Wesnoth 1.8.6 anc Mac OS X Lion
and if I'm not mistaken, those changes will be rolled into the stable 1.10 release once it's ready (given that 1.9.x are the "betas" of 1.10). The 1.10 release is what you would want to wait for if you want the smoothest Wesnoth experience.

Re: Wesnoth 1.8.6 anc Mac OS X Lion
Here is a possible fix for people running on Lion: Download the attached file, and unarchive it. Select your copy of Wesnoth (any version of Wesnoth should work), Show Package Contents, and navigate to Contents/Frameworks. Replace the SDL.framework that you find there with the unarchived attachment...

Re: How to randomize order of player in multi?
Thanks. Odd that it was a full year ago that they were talking about releasing 1.10 and it's still not here, but I imagine it would be better if I did not broach that topic here. Especially when I am really enjoying the current stable version of Wesnoth

Re: How to randomize order of player in multi?
Great! I wonder when 1.9 will become the stable version. Or would it be 2.0 once it becomes stable?Velensk wrote:This is a feature in 1.9

How to randomize order of player in multi?
Is there a way to randomize who goes when in multiplayer? It seems like it always defaults to whoever hosts the game starting first, and in my groups one person always tends to be the host because they know what their doing when it comes to choosing maps. So, it would be nice to randomize the order ...

You are right! Thanks for pointing that out, I would've never figured it out otherwise.

need way to sort for FFA maps in multiplayer
I like to play FFA (free for all) maps (usually 4+ player maps where each player is their own team) but in the current version of wesnoth it seems like I have to make a new game to see whether a 4+ player map is a 1 team vs 1 team map or an FFA. It would be really nice if in the general info screen ...

help for a newb - central repository of stable add-ons?
Hi, apologies in advance if I have failed to look in the right places. I see plenty of information about creating new campaigns and testing campaigns, but where does one go to find the central repository of already-tested ("out of beta/gold master") campaigns/units/etc for download? Thank ...

Re: iPad version support/feedback thread
Hey, I have Wesnoth for iPad, wanted to drop a quick note to say that I love it! Was wondering if there will be any updates in the near future, especially for performance. Seems a little laggy, especially while calculating enemy AI/movement on larger maps. Thanks for all of your work, this is one of...
