Re: Return to Noelren 0.6 - now complete
Glynnador did not show up in "Alnoth Caves", as a result half the dialog did not make sense. (he still wasn't there in "Counsels"). There are times when one or more characters seem to silently lose some of their max HP & max XP, but it's not serious enough to really hamper yo...

Re: Help compiling 1.10 on ubuntu 10.04
This is from the end of that slew of errors as the error output was longer that the buffer of my terminal. btw, you can redirect the full output in a file with something like: make >compil.log 2>&1 or, if you want it both in a file and on the terminal: make 2>&1 | tee compil.log also, you c...

There is a command-line tool called wesnoth_addon_manager in $datadir/tools/.uncleshelby wrote:This is off-topic, but is there a way to upload an add-on without using the game?
That's a python script, so it may not be very usable depending on your platform (seems to work well on linux, at least for downloading).

Re: Spirits Giving Form.
You want big Orcs so you kill all the small ones is not evolution. Yes, it is. The spirit changing body thing I was suggesting is more like... I suppose I should make another analogy here. Cheap fantasy demon comes and posesses sweet Cathy in the night while she's sleeping, let's call this demon Fr...

they might speed up the process of evolution (actually, technically, when there is any form of control it is not "evolution" anymore, but selective breeding) to produce suitable bodies that they could inhabit. :eng: Actually, selective breeding is nothing but the usual process of evolutio...

In campaigns, lancers are occasionally useful when you need assassin or archer killers early on.

Which means that you used the same version of Swamplings all along, correct?Tet wrote:i recently downloaded and played on 1.8 a week ago. after the direwolf cave i noticed a missing unit file.
(i ask because switching versions along the way can lead to that sort of troubles wrt recalling units).

As a test, can you two try hitting ctrl+f to switch to fullscreen, and let us know if that allows you to click things? I think it may be this bug , though it was previously only with ubuntu. i tried the ctrl+f switch, which actually made wesnoth fullscreen, and so slow that even the keyboard wouldn...

So, it's really a bug in --help/the manpage; they should not mention --data-dir in the first place, right?loonycyborg wrote:You really just need to pass the data dir itself as the argument: 'wesnoth /usr/share/games/wesnoth', without --data-dir.
