It's a bug in libsdl. http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=29433
It's fixed in the latest version so one of the wesnoth devs suggested to upgrade to it using this ppa.

I think the description is a bit misleading. I would have written something like "hyphen in unit type ID leads to the corruption of savegames". Even if the bug would have a high priority, most people wouldn't benefit until the next stable release. I don't think that 18 turns on "Maels...

I think you mean 0.0.12. I ran into another "unexpected characters" error when i loaded a savegame on "Maelstrom".

Just try it. It's a small download. The error was caused by 3 closing tags that didn't belong there. If you still get the error just remove the tags mentioned in the error message. After that the campaign should load.

I noticed that you also reduced the terrain defense of the phantoms. You should do the same with the despairs. If you view the unit description of the lvl 1 mummy it still says that it heals +4 even though it only heals +2. The "mouse over" info is correct though. The widow of the despairs...

Can't you modify the statue so that it can only petrify 1 unit at a time?
I found a bug. If you petrify a unit and this attack also kills the unit then the statue still takes selfdamage even though the unit is dead.

Actually the Ukians have the runner so it's not like they were helpless against undead. The undead on the other hand stand no chance against the mummy of the phantoms. They are highly vulnerable against its arcane attack and have no unit to fight it. That also applies to the other factions that are ...

You can't choose the statue as your leader in archaic era. Also in archaic era the statue will take some self damage for every unit it has petrified. That also applies for the daytime when the statue is turned into stone. So while ageless era does contain the units from archaic era it's not the same.

Why not take the ukian signalman/flareman and make a new unit line out of it? This way the ukians would also have a melee attack against undead.

I've noticed that the hitpoints of the orc units in a skirmish are much higher than usual. Is that a bug or intentional?

I played until "Storming Weldyn" without debug and had no problems. I found a bug in the "Sign" scenario. I first killed the troll leader and then moved Dardrus to the peak. When i killed the orc leader with Dolevan he didn't interrogate him. The scenario just ended. In "Sto...
