Re: Reproducible crash on v1.19.27

Was this ever logged in GitHub? A Discord conversation means nothing as it's ephemeral and some may not even get access to it.

I'm surprised to see that this is still an issue with current master at time of writing. So this hasn't been resolved.

Re: Increasing game UI text size

The better supported scaling is via Preferences -> Display -> Pixel scale multiplier. The disadvantage there is that, as of 1.18/1.19, only integral scaling is supported. Fractional scaling is logged in https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/8608

I think font-specific scaling still has issues ...

Re: 1.19.25 Steam Version Bugs

Issue 1 may need to be logged on GitHub for dev visibility.

I've confirmed the LoW issue and logged it as https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/11312

Re: 1.19.25 Steam Version Bugs

Issue 1 looks like https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/issues/6988, but it's possible the switch to SDL3 may be exacerbating this.

Issue 2 looks font-related. It would be helpful if you followed the guide on how to report issues . At a guess, there might be some font missing in the Steam package? It ...

Confirming the issue is resolved and should be available in the next releases for both 1.18 and 1.19.

Re: Mouse curses freeses when I use Recall

I don't know if Win11 does anything differently, but I tried to replicate what you described: 1.19.22+dev, Win10, full-screen (really just a borderless window), keyboard Alt+R. I don't observe any issues with mouse cursor.

Re: Language selecting is limited

I haven't seen it logged in GitHub, I assume it's being taken care of then.

Re: Language selecting is limited

This sounds like the Android port? I don't believe there's any issue with scrolling on desktop.

Re: Need Help Compiling on Ubuntu

I just run

Code: Select all

scons -j (number of concurrent jobs)
If there are errors, it's just a matter of installing the dependencies (and perhaps forcing a refresh of the cache).

Re: Units most time invisible, grafik fault und crash

Looks like another issue with sdl2-compat - the Steam distribution doesn't use it, as far as I know.

Seems like a one-off glitch, but if you're able to replicate it reliably, please provide the information.

I remember getting something like this but only on Windows 7. Perhaps not the same issue though.

Not sure what the issue here is. The trolls appear to be green and blue, while the dwarves are purple and grey (or black).

Re: Crashy Bug on Mac OS, maybe a memory leak

I realise this may not be possible, but are you able to replicate on more than one machine? At least to try to eliminate hardware as a possibility. I had a bizarre problem with memory usage (not Wesnoth related) that seemed to be specific to a single machine.
