Re: v1.17.13 + Windows 7 + Eastern Invasion Revised

Could you provide the steps you do to reproduce the issue? Also a save file would be useful.

Re: [engine] add a [damage_type] special/ability who modify the type of attack used

If one of the use cases is in Era of Magic, then it'd be good to have inferno8 comment here too.

Re: Modifying mouvement costs (and other things)

For (1): that sounds like it'd result in game play being significantly more complex since there would be a lot more movement cost variations.

For (2): isn't that already available just by looking into your code though?

Re: Modifying mouvement costs (and other things)

For (1): is this not already possible? Filtering on terrain codes allows for partial matches.

For (2): I'm not really sure what's being suggested.

Re: Modifying mouvement costs (and other things)

Clearing *all* variables is a very destructive thing and would likely break all sorts of content that's relying on variables existing.

Re: Under the Burning Suns

$dehydration_loss will be 3 (Easy), 5 (Normal), or 7 (Hard). $dehydration is the same value as $dehydration_loss , since the string it's from is: tooltip = stringx.vformat(_"dehydrated: This unit is dehydrated. It will lose $dehydration HP and have its damage reduced by 1 each turn during the ...

Re: 1.17.13 Appcrash (Windows 7)

The text version of the build information is much more useful (as described in https://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?t=25660). I'm not sure what else to suggest though - a stacktrace is what's needed most, but that requires building Wesnoth yourself. Just a sanity check really, do these posts co...

Re: AI-generated Art

I would say that falls into the category of "anthropomorphizing the AI too much". These AIs are not children - they're huge, complex statistical models being built and refined by any companies who are able to pay the millions upon millions in cloud compute costs that it takes to create them.
