Yeah, it's not the most obvious compared to how macros otherwise handle multiline arguments, but it'd be (LOC_FILTER=terrain=Ke

As long as you have cmake support in Visual Studio, you should be able to just open the git tree with VS and it'll start building the vcpkg dependencies, then click the Build button to compile Wesnoth.

There's always the secondary MP server, which doesn't require logging in. If they're unable to view the forums though, then it's very unlikely that they'd be able to connect to the primary MP server anyway since they're both hosted on the same physical server.
