Ran it vs AI (yes it works OK if you play as monster and run 1st turn for heroes yourself and then droid it, oh and if they kill a grotto you pick for them - be fair!) and all seems well. Chose the "endless" attacks option for heroes and whew can it blow through a lot of zombies. I think ...

AFTER the refresh event, all the zombies disappear from the map and are placed again I tried it, and I see what you mean. You can simplify side_turn_end to side_1_turn_end, side_2_turn_end. True, but I don't think that explains the deletion of the units. Note that even if that is not the case, unit placed it allowed to trigger any time and it is your responsibility to filter if it should do something or not. 1. I fixed all the bugs reported up to this point, except that latest from Atreides. The only explanation I can think of is a store/unstore error on the unit. But I can't reproduce it, so no fix yet. I'm impressed you went and dug it up. Your thoughts sound similar to my own. I think it was very chaotic, which was interesting. Anything that could be randomized was randomized. But it was also impossible to balance, pretty buggy, and not very fun for the hero players. I have thought about remaking...
