Hostile Github?
I'm trying to get the patch for boost-1.83 from github, I can see it but I'm unable to download it. I've been getting patches from github in past, what has changed? Am I suddenly getting dumber or there is some trick I don't see? Or github has microsofted and turned against users? https://github.com...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
That should be: name=_"Will o’ the Wisp" Names shouldn't contain underscores. They're for showing to the user. Sure you can ignore that and use underscores anyway, but why ? The only reason to use underscores anyway is that programming languages generally don't allow spaces in their ident...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
What OS are you using and which version are you using? It appears that it doesn't like some file name because I was silly and put there those wacky symbols. Gentoo Linux, Wesnoth 1.12.6. I wonder why the file is empty, some unpack error thanks to those symbols in filename? For those interested in m...

Re: Legend of the Invincibles
Unknown unit type: Will_o_Wisp.
^^ I'm getting this error, what am I missing?
Edit: OK, in units directory there is a file Will'o'Wisp.cfg and it is zero byte. No unit file for Will_o_Wisp.
Edit 2: I copied Mist.cfg to Will_o_Wisp.cfg as workaround, at least the scenario loads now.

Campaign defunct - Love To Death
Alright, I understand we should post on Add-On subforum to get support. There seems to be no thread for Love To Death. I also understand after reading the guidelines no Add-On should make it into download server if it even does not start. Love To Death does not load the first scenario, it errors out...

Re: How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
Hmmm ... trying to start Wesnoth with --geometry/-geometry option fails too ... I'm running out of ideas ...
Does anybody know how to start Wesnoth on a specified screen?

Re: How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
Methinks it's the same problem, in your case KDE is adding to confusion, while my puritan setup simply offers one big (2x1680)x1050 screen and Wesnoth occupies it from left, ignoring screen setting in xorg.conf and the whole xinerama.

Re: How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
Out of curiosity, I tried to start Wesnoth without WM, it started on secondary screen.
Methinks the problem here is Wesnoth is not xinerama-aware. BTW, Xinerama is an Xorg extension, I wouldn't call it third party software.

Re: How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
Thanks for replies. :) My OS is Gentoo 64-bit, ~amd64. My WM is Openbox, bare Openbox (+ feh, tint2, wbar, to create an usable desktop). Both monitors are 1680x1050. I can run windowed Wesnoth in my primary monitor, I can maximize it, but as soon as I hit Ctrl+F Wesnoth jumps to the secondary monito...

Re: How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
I have to take it back, I do have one fullscreen application, MythTV, it runs where it is supposed to be, on secondary screen, no problems.Blues wrote:I don't think I have any, I can hit the maximize button in any app, but that's not the same.

How can I keep Wesnoth on my primary screen?
It worked fine when my second screen was on right. Now I moved it to the left side of primary monitor and despite I can start windowed Wesnoth on my primary monitor it jumps over to the secondary as soon as I hit Ctrl+F. I tried to force it with DISPLAY variable set to :0.0 but no joy. Using xinerama.

Re: Legend of the Invincibles and RPG AMLA Era feedback
Well, you probably saw the thread I started. First part, last scenario, a comma is missing. Second part, last scenario an invalid side is used.
