Re: 1.6 Campaign: A Rough Life - version 1.0.7

I don't have anything constructive to add, but I wanted to drop in a word of appreciation for Jacques_Fol's beautiful campaign. It was a truly marvelous experience, due entirely to the well-scripted dialogue and plot. In contrast to most campaigns, mainline included, A Rough Life was story-driven ra...

Re: Standing and idle animations?

Is there something like a grand idle animation list? Was wondering when the female Human Mage line idle animations would be completed. They've been really bugging me - the female sprite would suddenly change to having a male idle animation... or perhaps it could be removed until something else is co...

Huh. Interesting. Daniel? Are you the same developer for GAE?

You forgot that the boss lives again after killing him. It is impossible to kill him. He reincarnates. Eventually you will die. And, when he dies the first time, your control over undead units is over. Dwarvish fighters and thunderers do nothing to him.

Wow... I just read through the entire thread. Interesting. Here's my contribution (after my first comment) 349 When you begin to wonder what those elvish druids do with their sticks in their free time :P This has happened to me too much. I have even begun drawing pictures... I'm almost finished. But...

Brevity is vital. Not necessarily. Personally, I enjoy lengthier, wordier campaigns. I often discard newly downloaded campaigns if I find too many grammatical errors or spelling errors. A bad start in the general story of the campaign also leads to immediate deletion. One example would be A New Ord...

Help! The Epilogue isn't loading. It keeps giving me "Maps with no header are not supported" or something. I hate this.

Welcome to the Lair? I've got turn 40. These freaks keep popping up... It doesn't stop. Bug? I'm using the latest version. 1.3.1.4

Anyway, great campaign. Mal Keshar is my favorite character so far.

Hmm, I don't think "impossible" is really achievable. What if the player has lots of highwaymen in his recall list? I don't know. One way is to leave the scene as is, and if the player beats the lichs, have an ending saying that a more powerful lich kills him without the player having a ch...

Oh, here's an early save:
http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/19/ ... Turn_84.gz
It's an 1.3.14 compressed saved. Just load it accordingly.

Re: South Guard 7b. Pebbles in the Flood

Oh, and by the way, here's my report: 1. Hard - 1.3.14 2. Way too easy 3. Very clear - Just hold out and defend 4. Good, seemed like Sir Gerrick was doomed to die, but he didn't. 5. Killing the damn ancient lich who had like 100 income per turn and recruited draugs, boneshooters, shadows, and occasi...

Huh? I held out for 71 turns with 6 highwaymen, who were good against the Draugs and Bone Shooters. My fugitive was my hit and run attack unit, and in the end after obtaining 400 gold I launched a massive thug attack. Both lichs died after half my force was destroyed, but I ended up killing everythi...

Necrophage feeding ability limit?

There seems to be a 50hp limit to the feeding ability of the necrophage in the campaign, "Descent into Darkness". I could only get feeding to work in the scene my ghoul leveled, but after that, it stopped at 50. It might be just a bug... Am I correct?
