Re: Frogatto
Hello, I tried to get it working, but faced some problems. 1. Source package link did not work. I got the SVN version then 2. You might add ccache and libglew to your dependency list in the INSTALL file 3. Compile run failed when compiling custom_object.cpp src/custom_object.cpp: In member function ...

Re: Frogatto and Scripted Cutscenes
First of all one advice: Do _not_ try to create a sort of world simulation where the game behavior emerges as the combination of the behavior of independant agents who try to promote some goals. I have often seen such a system proposed and never (not even partially) succesfully implemented. Its (alm...

Re: Summoning Wars
This problem look rather like an OGRE specific problem - at least there are more users complaing about this problem in OGRE forum. Does this occur, when you try to start our Game, or some Ogre Samples ? In general, compiling Ogre yourself is a pain sometimes and I cant do a lot about this. The best ...

Re: Summoning Wars
Both code and content is GPL. For the coding standard: You always have to include some libraries which have english function and class names, so using german ones yourself will create a horrible mix. Unforturnately, the documentation is in german at the moment, which must be changed to make it easy ...

Re: Summoning Wars
We hope to get a Mac build in future. At the moment the problem is simply, that we do not have a Mac computer to make a build. Apart from that I am not sure how much experience is needed to do that. I have heard its a pain similar to Windows x(

Re: What is the minimum amount of experience for recalling
Hey resilient is a really nice trait for a mage in my opinion. To the question: You should also ask yourself, if you intend to level that unit or if it is just cannon fodder. Never recruit only units that should survive, because this wont work. Cannon fodder for 20 gold is too expensive, if you can ...

Re: Bad luck? Read this
Ah the thread is still alive and even my theory survived a few days. Just a few more ideas / arguments. Have a look at your example: EX: I have a unit with only 20 hp left, and 4 enemies can reach it. Surely it will die! But wait, the AI missed 8/8. It got lucky and lived. Again, what you declare to...

Re: Bad luck? Read this
@ Dave: I can't see, that computer generated random numbers are such a big problem. By the way, its not that easy to prove, that a dice is fair as well. Of course Catans has sometimes frustrating luck as well. But at the end, good luck and bad luck usually occur on the same size (a few ressource car...
