1.8 Ghost Userdata Folder

Windows Vista Wesnoth 1.8 English So I installed 1.8 and used the My Games/Wesnoth1.8 path for userdata and I start up 1.8 and go to the add-ons. I proceed to download Galactic Empires, but when I try to find it in the My Games folder, there is no Wesnoth1.8 folder. From here I try the quick search ...

Re: Empires: Warlords (Rough Remake of 1989 'Warlords' by SSG)

I didn't think about the buy unit option from Warlords II, great idea!

I'll update the attachment once I get temple blessing working right.

Re: Empires: Warlords (Rough Remake of 1989 'Warlords' by SSG)

I edited the first post to show recent changes and additions. I've run into a problem with temple blessing. The message will pop up that the unit was blessed with a random blessing type but the effects are not being added to the unit, here is my code: [set_menu_item] id=war_templeblessing descriptio...

Empires: Warlords (Rough Remake of 1989 'Warlords' by SSG)

Warlords A rough remake of the 1989 DOS Warlords created by Strategic Studies Group Right now, the game is really only a new Empires map. There are two scenarios: Warlords (fixed start) and Warlords Random (random start) that determine starting positions. The map is a remake of the one that was fea...

Re: Maeglin's Design Point Roundup

-Duke Nukem 3D I'm actually going to hold off on observations on this one, since I want to get some discussion going first, and I'm actually in the middle of playing this one, so I'm still seeing new things. "Time to kick *** and chew bubble gum, and I'm all out of gum." LOL, you just HAV...

Re: What is everyone's favorite movie at the moment?

 You assume too much! The story was fantastic, and sure it stretched on, but that was not at all arbitrary.

Re: WesCiv & WesCol

Okay, I've been developing a better way for workers where you don't need to place a "worker" unit so the map will be less crowded.

Re: WesCiv & WesCol

Hmm... I'm not sure what the problem was then.

WesCiv will be on hold for a while but I will try to make it available in 1.8 and hopefully continue development next year.

Re: Rise of Civilization (is back!)

Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. School is using up most of my time.

This project is going to be on hold for a while, but your suggestions will be remembered ;). All you need to do is make the maps in the editor, I can add the WML for you.

Re: What is everyone's favorite movie at the moment?

After watching the previews for 'Avatar', I thought it looked kind of bobo, but when a friend and I had nothing to do but go to the movies and had already seen most of them, we decided to watch Avatar. Wow, it blew me away! It was a fantastic movie that had a little bit of everything! It really make...

Re: Adding more players?

I've created a scenario with more than 9 sides before. The editor only goes up to 9 starting positions though, so I made them AI with no leader.

Re: "1-winner only" games (Conquest etc.)

In an (somewhat) unrelated note, an unfair alliance allowed this purple player to not only win the game, but also spend an entire 45 minutes doing absolutely nothing worth posting on the forum, but I'm going to do it anyway:
