It should work best to just copy the WML for drop stuff (macros\drop.cfg) into your own era and adjust it from there.

It's a nice idea, and the system sounds interesting mechanics-wise. But conceptually it doesn't fit that well. Granted, the concept of drops era isn't very deep, but still.

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of the map pack, the latest version (v1.10) now contains the Shop Era! You can now use shops on any map. :) Shops include potions and armor, a random selection of weapons and magical artifacts, and an exchange for converting XP to gold. The item prices could still ...

Sorry for not catching this sooner.
XP Era is indeed updated for 1.10, and should work just fine if you download/install it from the add-on server. It is found in Dov's MP Pack.

SHOPS MOD/ERA -- I'm going to be updating my pack in the next week or two with a new era which allows units at a keep to access a shop through the right-click menu. So any map, from Isar's Cross to Orocia, will have shops if played with this era. Obviously, making any map into a shop map plays havoc...

I think such a command would be helpful, but even better would be an auto-pickup of loot when moving to a hex with loot.

Thanks for the info--I agree that late games get too messy and towers contribute to that a lot. The barrier-wall-tower upgrade idea is nice, but I'd prefer to keep things simpler. I'll consider upping tower costs or removing tower ZoC. And by the way, for 1.9 the Era will now be included in Dov MP M...
