Re: Balance Ideas (Unit Changes)
Asides from the fact that's only a 25% chance to happen, what was your point? Northerners need help in this matchup. And I wouldn't even bother with a ghost when I could just blast my way through the horde with adepts and skele's, or simply corpse spam until I have a ridiculous amount of units. I f...

Re: Balance Ideas (Unit Changes)
this is pretty funny to me honestly, because everyone knows Orcs are the only real main problem when it comes to cavs. reducing cavs blade/blunt resists by 10% to reflect the same resist as a horsemen (which means nothing needs to be done to horsemen) would give orcs a much easier time with cavs ei...

Re: Balance Ideas (Unit Changes)
7mp is still more than enough to throw those armored beasts into your face and still retreat faster than the run-of-the-mill fighter. If anyone knows how to deal with cavs as rebel or knalgan, tell me how. So if you, the gracious commander of the rebel army, decide to step out of that forest, which ...

Re: Writing Contest! (2 New Statues)
"That is absolutely ridiculous. Nonsense! Beasts can not be petrified, for petrification is naught but the manifestation of your sins, and thus requires sentience, as is pointed out in the 4. Chronicle of Yreir. Take your tales back to the filthy primitives in the marshes, you lout, and get out...

Yesterday I have permanently damaged my psyche by watching this movie. If my whole country was raped by drooling pyramids descending on earth from a parallel universe, while I was forced to watch it hanging by my heels atop a cauldron with molten sulphur, all the while being tickled by malicious bal...

clong man and the gang vs spam playing wednesday 8th of december 20:30 GMT+1 How about waiting for an answer first, young Rigor? With a heavy heart it is that I declare my withdrawal from the TGT , dragging unfortunate CragHack with me. I am sorry that this comes so sudden, but my thesis is simply ...

Why not
Fairies are just as plausible as old, bearded men moving masses of water with sheer will, turning water into wine or riding into the sky post-mortem on a horse with wings called Buraq.

Re: Where did you get your username from?
The person behind my name . Basically, I used to be good at thinking, and love strategy games. I didn't want to call myself Grand Admiral Thrawn, so I stuck w/ the shorter name. Everywhere else on the internet, I'm known as Viers, a name based off of the main character (Richard St. Viers) of a book...

Re: Separation of Movement & Line of Sight
I'd like to slip in my take on Line of Sight. Possibly the only thing which I'd wish Wesnoth would do better is this (Note that it's more like a rub-a-lamp-tell-the-genie kind of wish than guys-c'mon-code-it one). Ze problem: Information is cheap in BfW. After the initial 2-3 rounds, a simple scouti...

Re: Elemental: War of Magic
Well thats arts - subject to personal taste. I for myself love that style. What impressed me the most is that Stardock has opted not to make a console version, which they say would mess up the implementations of some things they have in mind. Forfeiting more cash for artistic ideals? Yes please. Too...
