Re: End of an Era.

....
Wow.

It was that I had written ghost instead of "Ghost" in a fakemove.

Stupid case sensitivity. :annoyed:

Re: End of an Era.

Now can someone please help me with the one I'm clueless on? I think you're getting little help because you never said where the error is--you just posted a whole campaign. (Or all of it you have anyway.) I don't know which character, variable, or even file you have a problem with, and I don...

Re: End of an Era.

Some of Donovan's lines are being skipped, seemingly at random. As I said, I think that's an issue with the new dialog boxes; I tested the mainline campaigns and A Tale of Two Brothers had a similar problem. This sounds like the known bug with the new dialog boxes. If you use Enter to clear dialogs...

Re: End of an Era.

At which point is the dialogue being skipped? I skimmed through your code but could find no glaring errors, so you will have to be a bit more obvious. Re: Revived, renamed Campaign: End of an Era.

Well, it seems nobody has enough care to actually respond to that... But, I'm now having some troubles and I'd appreciate it if someone would be kind enough to help me out tech-wise. There are a couple issues I'm having. One is with the dialog being skipped sometime, which I believe is an iss...

Re: Revived, renamed Campaign: End of an Era.

This is getting ridiculous how much I'm rethinking this. To give you an idea, I was writing the synopsis of the version that I had just come up with after rethinking the last one I was working on, when I rethought it and came up with this one. SERIOUSLY. I think I'm sticking with this one though. Bu...

Re: Revived, renamed Campaign: End of an Era.

Whelp, it's been a while. And I rethunk a lot of it again. Yay! Now there isn't even a dragon anymore. Lol. Anyway, I'm posting it now since the second scenario's done. I'm going to post it again once per scenario.

Aha! I got it. Man though, you'd think there'd be an easier way to make a single tile's graphics.

I knew what alias was. What I didn't realize was that there was a seperate terrain_graphics tag. I figured that out just a bit before you posted. Now I'm trying to figure it out, hold on. I managed to get it to display with a blank tile, which is an improvement I suppose...

Trouble with user-made terrain

I'm having some trouble loading up a scenario map with a couple terrains I made. I get the message "Unable to load image for terrain: Ay^Vw". The code for the terrain file is [terrain] name= _ "Frozen water village" string="Ay^Vw" aliasof="Aa, Gg^Vh" symbol_im...

It picks the one it finds best? Yes, but there's also a multiplier that the developer can use to make one more likely to be used on defense. I know this can be used to make something completely unusable on defense, I don't think so on offense though. ...Say, that could work... A slowing attack that...

I really prefer my "trample" idea: "When this attack is used to kill a unit, this unit is put in the killed unit's hex and may attack again, but not move." I had simillar idea, but decided to search a forum first, and with a good reason, I see. My idea was however slightly diffe...

I suggest we call our alignments: "Night", "Neutral", and "Day". This needs no explanation, and makes sense to anyone on the first read. You have a point, but it seems odd for a unit to be "Night". I'd say go with "Nocturnal", "Diurnal", a...

Second this. Disagree. Imps are a type of demon. This is not a demon, it's a bat. Call it a firebat and confuse everyone who's ever played Starcraft :P Also, if you removed the berserk and converted it to l2 it would actually maybe be a good addition to, like, mainline. Or maybe an alternate l1. Ye...
