Good to see the trailer back online at youTube.
Viacom is getting some heat from the EFF regarding the removal of another video on youTube.

So, Viacom is the one to blame. They said that our video belonged to them , and they took legal action to remove it from internet. Dirty thieves! Hmm, is that an infringement of our copyright? I would not , neccessarily call it infringement of our copyright . Viacom falsely claimed ownership of our...

I am sorry to say it but if youtube decides to act like idiot, ignore youtube. And I say this frankly opposed to everyone that appeals to get youtube to revoke THEIR mistake. Some guys here act as if they cant live without youtube - how many of you came to Wesnoth because of Youtube? :) It's Viacom...

Understandable. But there is a Counter-Notification process to deal with mistakes. I can't do that. I made that clip, but never uploaded it to youtube. I understand the uploader has to notify them? If someone else uploads it now, all views, links etc. will be history. 1. A physical or electronic si...

Thanks for the PM, Duffchong. What a bunch of a**hats. How dare those media content mafiosi shut down a free , GPL, whatever licensed video. And, of course, Viacom is not to be liable for that action, right? Suing kids for sharing three mp3s and threatening them with jail on every DVD, but on the ot...

This is true for any computer game, because it is impossible to generate random numbers using only software. Huh? Sorry, but of course it is possible to generate random numbers using nothing but software on a computer which are good enough for a strategy game (and many other things). Sure, (very) s...

Re: A few ideas
Well, anyway, I know this video won't change, but if you'd value my opinion on whatever the next video for Wesnoth would be, I'd be happy to help. Just PM me when the time comes. I certainly hope you will add your input to any future video to come. The next days (er, weeks?), I'll have to do some o...

As long as it's the 10 MB H.264 file I'm sure it's good enough for youtube.com, should you need any other file format or size just let me know. I just read their upload how-to, too bad they wouldn't accept an original Flash video (or do they?) like they use themselves, because I have the software he...

I'm really impressed by this video. I think it's great promotional material. I just sent it to a friend who has been unsure about Wesnoth to try to convert him. Thanks for including a shot from UTBS, the desert battle looks really nice. Thanks :D I have to admit that I simply forgot about certain t...

Then replace it with a desert scene. Additionally I admit, I was cheating. I edited my message more then once adding additional content as I got more ideas by watching it again and again. Haha, thanks for letting me know, at least I don't have to question my eyes and memory anymore :D Fynmii...

*snip* But maybe you should use an MPEG4 codec like XviD or DivX or whatever of that familiy you like. H.264 support isn't that widespread so it might cause trouble. I've got artefacts in the very beginning with MPlayer and don't have another player installed which can decode the audio part... Okay...
