Wow. I never knew elves have a general weakness somewhere. Try defeating undeads with elves by your side... not impossible but somewhat hard. Anyway, I'd see Gnomes as auxiliaries of dwarves (maybe healers' and casters' lines), but Gnomes alone? :? They seem lacking of fast units. And what do you m...

I recall that thing about bearded-dwarvish-women by Tolkien, too. But that wasn't the original thread, I think... Before adding the female gender to all factions, I think we should consider their kinds of society: in humans, there are some units with female gender, but only in units that require agi...

AArgh! When I see those skulls on his hands it looks like he's gonna do a puppet show. Me too, but I like the idea of a Troll shaman. I would rather give him a staff with animal spirits around it Sounds nice  But what about this: a troll shaman wearing wolf bones? I mean wolf skull as helmet,...

Seems Clibanarii were meleeists, while Cataphract were chargers, but BOTH had bows. I negated bows to cataphracts only to make a significant difference between them and clibanarii. We assume the leadership line is Clibanarii (the latests form of heavy cavalry to appear for the Persians), and give h...

You are aware that there is a unit called Heavy Infantry in the Loyalist faction that has heavy armor with high resistancies and low movement, right? :?: Yessir, and I don't agree with the 4MP point. I simply think that it's too penalizing and maybe could work a reduction of terrain modifiers by 10...

It would be a good idea but, realisticaly, Heavy armor does not handicap your agility or movement in significant way. Also, a -1 movement is a pretty significant reduction in a unit's power, I'd need to counter that in some way. Think of Heavy Infantry... Also, you don't believe Plate Mail would sl...

ok, no doubt you're right: so I tried giving a perspective-like angulation to the hammer. That's the result :? : http://img465.imageshack.us/img465/2406/konsehmsteelheadremadeok5op.png According to you, what's the best idea concernig mutated/abominations? The 'plague' or the buyable unit? I don't th...

Wow. Nice the attempt to explain some reasons to the Wesnoth reality, and nice idea for the Dwarves, though it will be hard to bring something new for them; which are priests attacks? some kind of dwarvish sorcerer would be nice . What about dwarvish mutants (ghundaugi priests could have alter...
