hey neorice made a couple of extra saurian units that never made it to mainline. AFAIK the bottom row of saurians and the guys to the upper right that look big and nasty never found a home...

i think giving them a flying unit would be like giving them a scout, which i am pretty sure was not the intention. i think the scouts they have were supposed to be the closest they ever got to a scout unit, and that only has 6 moves...so i think a flying unit is not what was intended, and a water un...

the new mage

not really a contribution, but the red mage description states that the mage has blue robes, but now he has brown. so perhaps instead of saying "the blue robes of the apprentice" it could say "the tattered robes of the apprentice" or something like that?

i think an age of heroes version is unnecessary work...but i always thought it would be interesting if each faction had just one lv2 recruitable, preferably a leader...but thats just me i think that the warlock is alright, because it is one of the only useful units aragwaithi have against undead (th...

actually, although it is usually extremely hard to get custom art for new campaigns, the drakes are a different story. thats because neorice has drawn many drakes that did not make it into the mainline

i would have to go with the drake blademaster for my number 1. he looks so cool i mass fighters in hopes that one will somehow magically reach lv3...not the greatest strategy... the elvish hero would be my number two choice. the two swords are so cool, i think he looks better than the champion...it ...

not the greatest player but heres my advice: spread your drakes out during the night, do not have them close together. this means a couple may die, but i think thats better in this case than having many weakened ones. then start to consolidate your army when dawn comes. all through the day until dus...

i'm not quite sure if this will work, but i think it would be easier to do it similarly to charge #define WEAPON_SPECIAL_DREAD [damage] id=dread name= _ "dread" description= _ "Dread: The enemy can only deal half damage in retaliation to this attack" multiply=.5 apply_to=defender...

actually i was thinking about making all the leaders lv3s, and you can recruit the normal recruit, plus the lv2 that corresponds with your leader, so if you chose an Elvish Champion, you would be able to recruit Elvish Heroes on top of your normal recruit. so in order to do that would i just have so...

recruit based on leader

is there a way using the new thing that you could make an era where the units you can recruit depend on the leader that you choose?

yes, horsemen are really good for assassination, even though they are expensive. if you are playing a map that has 4+ players, and you control most of the map, sending three horsemen after a leader could just be worth it. i say 4+ players because this means there is usually one player adjacent to yo...

i usually have my first few fighters go to heroes, but captains are good to have too. if an archer is strong, have him go to ranger, if he is dextrous have him go marksman. for shamans i have them become druids for healers, and mages to red mages for damage. also horsemen to knights isnt a no braine...

or the level one could be holding the shield with both hands, in a more nervous way, and the level two could be holding it with one hand, in a more confident, maybe even cocky way
