Re: Multiple #po comments?

I think the current format is one long string for the whole description, everywhere. If so, for technical reasons you're stuck with just one longish comment, too. IMO unit texts are not so big (yet?). Splitting race backgrounds might not be the worst idea though - these tend to be really gigantic. B...

Re: Help needed translating iPhone description - all languages

Czech version of text by Čestmír Houska: Bitva o Wesnoth je oficiálním portem obrovské, komplexní, detailní a rozsáhlé strategie s prvky RPG. Postarali jsme se o to, aby ze hry nebylo nic vyříznuto, od plápolání vlajek až po kostlivce, kteří žonglují se svými hlavami, všechno to tu je! Wesnoth je un...

Re: Attracting and keeping artists on an OSS game project

Nobody has mentioned yet the possibility to render 3d models into sprites. Model once, no animation, press "render", you're done. I ha...

Re: OpenGameArt.org -- need suggestions for organization schemes

I must confess that what you have there now didn't let me past the multi-selection box, no matter what I did. :oops: Maybe you could take some inspiration from DeviantArt? One particular thing caught my eye there, the category system which is completely orthogonal to "folderization" by author and gr...

I made a syntax highlighter for npp once. It got lost though... if you go through my threads you should be able to find it.

Don't forget the single quotes around:

text='castle'

...just making sure :) It would break the help page otherwise.
