Actually, no - the mages have always been in there, and actually, up until recently (er... 0.6/.7/.8 or so), the horsemen were in the rebel faction as well. I think the thieves were, too, though I might be confusing that with the old loyalists. Why not get rid of the last human? It would be the log...

Read EP's Mage Guide. Mages are for weakening the enemy or for getting 90%+ chance of killing a wounded unit. They are not for frontline defense.

Why is it RIPLIB? The conjurer gets 75% more damage while still getting lots of attacks. If I made it 3-10 or something dextrous units would get a gigantic advantage. Anyway I'd like to thank everyone for their positive or constructive comments. Unfortunately I don't have the graphics skill to bring...

Lord Aether: Illusions don't work against marksman or magical attacks. Dragonking: Their *flies damage can be boosted to 3-8 and 5-7, although they'd be really overpowered with dextrous. Noy: Well the mage is the only cross-faction unit, which I thought was quite strange, so I made this in hopes of ...

Elvish Illusionist - replacement for the Rebel mage
I always thought the Rebel mage was a little out of place, so I thought of a replacement: New ability: Illusion Gains +10% defense when defending, except against units with the "intelligent" trait. Elvish Illusionist Level: 1 Cost: 21 Alignment: Neutral Moves: 5 HP: 22 XP: 50 Advances to: ...

If there is a way you can win that scenario AS IT CURRENTLY STANDS (i.e. as of 0.9.7, it was different in earlier versions) by defeating all enemies, it is unbalanced, and needs to be fixed. Email me a replay or something if you find a way to do it other than sheer luck (i.e. saveloading). As a mat...

In the scenario before evacuation there is no early finish bonus, so go back and wait that one out until the very end, in order to maximize gold. Perhaps the best way to win this one out is to kill all enemy leaders. You have a ton of castle squares to recruit on, plus a good amount of gold, so that...

If you compare the ogre's stats to the swordsman's and the orcish warrior's, you will notice that the ogre's greatest strength is its enormous hitpoints . It has the same resistances as a troll and the same weapon power as an orcish warrior, while being a slightly pricey unit. I also agree that the ...
