Actually, no - the mages have always been in there, and actually, up until recently (er... 0.6/.7/.8 or so), the horsemen were in the rebel faction as well. Exactly my thought, zookeeper.

To me mages were added simply as "band-aid" reaction to undead, especially against ghosts.

Read EP's Mage Guide. Mages are for weakening the enemy or for getting 90%+ chance of killing a wounded unit. They are not for frontline defense.

Why is it RIPLIB? The conjurer gets 75% more damage while still getting lots of attacks. If I made it 3-10 or something dextrous units would get a gigantic advantage. Lugo: That looks fine, except make it bigger, since it's a brute . Every other lvl 3 unit has an unreasonable cost, so why include a cost here? I'm not so sure about the Orcish archer inferiority thing too. :wink: However if it turns out to be true I guess Orcish Sovereigns could be used instead.

If you compare the ogre's stats to the swordsman's and the orcish warrior's, you will notice that the ogre's greatest strength is its enormous hitpoints .
