640x480 image free for eveyone

Hi everyone, I made this to be the part of the cover of a freeware CD compilation where I gathered freeware/open source games. It is the biggest resolution (640x480), so there aren't any bigger ones. With logo: http://www.easternraider.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=7&pos=1 Without logo: htt...

@gpetersz: While I understand your intent, I can't agree with you. I do agree that people should be putting there best forward, but you must remember, many of our artists(even the better ones) are amateurs. As long as the work is wesnoth related, I don't see a problem with people posting relatively...

I think the head is not at all finished at the moment. It is just there to provide some... placeholding.... or something. To be there to see the balance.

Thanks for your kind words! I am discussing this with Dave at the moment (in priv), but nothing is for sure at the moment. I program as my daily job and only draw in my free time, and this time is quite scheduled at the moment, so I don't want to promise anything I can't keep. I asked permission fro...

Well I haven't looked, I am sorry. I might be mistaken but I feel some sarcasm here, ain't I? I think I upset you somehow, but I didn't intend to do it. If I'm being sarcastic, I'm not trying to be :P I think maybe you're looking for upset-ness where it isn't. (although, IMO that's always a good th...

Now, here the upper body became much better. Yes I meant the left leg, I think it connects to the hips (my poor english, I am sorry) too low.
Now only this and the two feet what seems wrong, the outline starts to get quite good.

Well, I stepped on many thumbs here at my first day... I should have first looked around before posting (a very lame mistake by "beginners" what I am not on the internet). I read that there is a restricted forum where the better pieces are posted, and now we are in the general one. Here so...

Then forgive me, I didn't know that there is a restricted forum!
So, now we are in the general forum?

Then I apologise, and am terribly sorry. So UMC's got images from this forum?

Yes on the sprite you got much white and grays and little purple, on the portrait you got too much of that purple. Anyway I am awaiting the next version the base is really cool so the image has great potential.

User Made Campaign. Odd, that isn't listed here or here , otherwise useful acronym sources. Well I haven't looked, I am sorry. I might be mistaken but I feel some sarcasm here, ain't I? I think I upset you somehow, but I didn't intend to do it. Maybe I do seem too picky, but believe me I am not, I ...

This one is a very early status of a sketch but already has some problems. They should be corrected before you continue with this because later they will be much bigger ones. The leg above the knee is too long, and the foot are totally deformed at the moment. The upper body is a little squary (built...

This portrait is mostly fine. I agree on the knee line should be shown and anybody did the overpaint s/he was right. I also would change the lens-flare filter, it really doesn't add to the whole and quite a cheap effect (besides is it a photograph of an elf? Lens-flares only made by cameras' lenses....

Ah, sorry. I would like to write: "current portraits".
I mean: the most of which in the game (at least in the first 4 campaigns).
For example the orcish portraits. They are all great and professional.
Any new portraits have to reach this level of quality in my opinion.

Ugh... it started great but ended up well... not so great. The first sketchy b/w art was just what we needed, but somehow now the colored one lost most of the magic. I don't really like the dark purple for its face and the hair on the body does not look like hair (still). In comics or cartoons the h...
