Compatibility of previous add-ons with the current version
Hello !
I would like to play an add-on ("Last Stand at Gaer Derole" Elivaras <3) which was on the 1.14 add-ons List (https://www.wesnoth.org/addons/1.14/) and i couldn't find how to do so :/
Does any of you have ideas about this ? How can i make it playable on the current 1.18 version of Wesnoth ?
Thanks !

Re: Compatibility of previous add-ons with the current version
Depends what you mean by "make it playable". You want to edit the code to bring it up to 1.18 compatibility, or just download the 1.14 version to your 1.18 install and hope it works?
You might ask over here, though it doesn't seem to have seen much (un)life recently:

Re: Compatibility of previous add-ons with the current version
You can just download it and manually install it under 1.18 and hope it works. 1.16 to 1.18 was an almost trivial upgrade for most addons but 1.14 to 1.16 was in some cases incompatible.
If you need instructions on installing something manually I believe you just need to know where 1.18 addons are stored. You'll also need to extract the download from compressed to regular files. These however are all things that vary by Operating system.

Re: Compatibility of previous add-ons with the current version
I already tried to download it, extract the files and add it to my "data/add-ons" folder but couldn't find it ingame with 1.18. Fyi, i'm using Steam to launch/install Wesnoth.
I would prefer to edit it to bring it up to 1.18. That would make this superb map playable for more people

Assuming this campaign has been abandoned, and I have no idea how to determine that, you might find a lot of good info here:

You did notice that it is MP, so you won't find it under Campaigns, right?
