It's a strange combination of ambient and jazz.

Also, is it supposed to loop or quit/restart? If the former, it doesn't sound like it matches up. If the latter, it stops abrubtly.

Yes, sorry its meant to continue. The music just a draft. Wondering, is this music too weird for Wesnoth?

Hi, wonea!

I can say that this music would certainly fit in a video game. With the direction that Aleksi and I are taking the music for Wesnoth, I don't think it would work. We're working on full orchestration for the game. If you can compose some good orchestra music, post it here!

Aleksi may have a different opinion. He's really the one who makes the calls.

I like it. I think it would be shame to not put it in the game.

The music itself is ok, but defenetly does not work for this game. Its not really going in the direction Timothy and i are seeing it.

Not only classical, but full orchestra, or at least some ensemble that is fitting of the genre and mood of the game. And make the sounds fit the environment.

I agree with others, that it doesn't sound very Wesnothy, but it's good music.

I can envision it being used in some sort of spy-thriller or survival-horror game. It conveys a sense of nervous tension nicely (except maybe for that keyboard that comes in near the end? - that's a little too... happy?).

Now all you have to do is write a new game to suit the music... :P

If it gets streched out a bit it might suit for a creepy mission in a custom campaign.

....First music is 12 seconds "short" and i don't see where it could be implemented in the game...

Second link is not working for me!
