Should Berserkers be added to dwarve leaders?

Post by darksteel »

I think berserkers should eventually become dwarve leaders.

Because they would help the dwarven army tremendously.

Also its not like they are to aver powered or anything.

Give me your thoughts! :D

No, and this seems like a joke, which I dislike unless they're in OT. :irritated:

Maybe, although it would be pointless.
Once the Dwarves are 'up to code' in terms of playability and balance, then we can start thinking of adding pointless things people would only use to mess around with.
Gandalf-"I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor. You cannot pass. The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udun. Go back to the Shadow. You cannot pass!"

Well, my other objection is that it would really mess up random; having as an option a leader that is much worse than the others (he'll die instantly, especially if, as many people want, berserker is reverted), will make random not a viable option.

This is also why I would be against having a weaker outlaw faction.

I think factions should have a seperate list, a sublist, of leaders they can get at random.
It's all fun and games until someone loses a lawsuit. Oh, and by the way, sending me private messages won't work. :/ If you must contact me, there's an e-mail address listed on the website in my profile.

Beserkers are too one minded to be leaders. They don't think, they kill. They can't be leaders.
I speak what's on my mind.

Which is why nothing I say makes sense.

That's the point. Berserkers would never lead and coordinate an army instead of just seek and destroy.

Indeed, I don't think "specialty" units should be leaders in general.

It could be an interesting idea to give an extra power to leader though. Although i have no ideas what they could be... anti-illuminates for undead, leadership for loyalist, ...?

That would take away the dwarf guard's upgrades, the slayer... something else too, can't remember now.
