minor suggestion regarding make uninstall

Post by kittel »

Hi there,

After a make uninstall, i still get this:

$ locate wesnoth
/usr/local/share/wesnoth
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data/maps
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data/scenarios
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data/units
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data/translations
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/data/themes
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/fonts
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/images
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/images/misc
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/images/terrain
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/images/buttons
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/music
/usr/local/share/wesnoth/sounds

So maybe the uninstaller could "rmdir" these directories?

Cheers,
Thomas

(ps. And dont worry, i only do a make uninstall because i want to upgrade to 6.99.4 - its a great game! :)

I have found wesnoth being a perfect distraction from my homework, just as it is being right now  .

P.S. This is my 200th wesnoth post :D

A fix to this problem has been commited to CVS. Now make uninstall will remove data directories if they are empty.
