I should preface this by saying I'm not a big fan of these bobbing animations.

In this case, the good part is that it's not pure cut & slide. However the movement seems to emphasize his heaving bosom while his shoulders are stiff.

I like the shield turning. At a glance, everything looks okay. But if I study it...

Maybe the clothes just above his boots should move up/down less?

What if the guy's head moved, but the shoulder armor did not?

I've got some ideas for these bobbing animations. Maybe it will go nowhere, but I thought it was worth bringing up and should be relatively easy to implement.

EDIT: It's been merged, I guess most people interested can see it in 1.15.9 when that's out. Its does mean there is room for two bobbing animations for a given sprite:
1. heavy breathing, like the orc archer, loyalist spearman, and many of the dwarves -> For when the unit has low HP.
2. default standing -> wind blowing a flag or cape, a lizard dancing, or a ghost floating.

Some existing bobbing animations were not super easy to classify as 1. or 2.
