Thanks, I published it. Do those terms when publishing have some affect on me?
What are you referring to? :hmm:
When you upload new version of campaign, you get note TERMS, which you can accept or deny.

It's only an advice; in short, by posting on the server your campaign you declares that it is your work and that it does not violate any copyright.

@Earthcake
You could open up a topic for your own campaign, then you could easier receive theoretical feedback. :) (And maybe add the number of scenarios your campaign has to the add-on description?)

I would open, but I don't know how. I would appreciate any help. :eng: And I will at least leave alone this forum from my boring questions and discussions. :oops:

Well, campaign isn't still finished, so I really don't know how much scenarios it will have, maybe more than 20, but, you know, I maybe add some dialogue scenarios and maybe put some unplanned scenario.

Btw, because you know that, I suppose you play my campaign, so thanks. :D Do you like first scenario? If you have any grammar or some other language advice, that would be nice.

I hope next scenario (dialogue-only) will come out this evening.

Too, if you have any advice how I can fix bug with images, I will try to do that.

All you have to do is:
- go to the forums page
- select Scenario and Campaign Development
- select New Topic in the low-left of the page

Did you fix yet that the lvl 4 healer can't cure poison?

I've uploaded my replays here. Would you mind adding the link to the add-on description?

Version: 1.2.5

Scenario 3 (03_Up_and_Under) has a bug which means you cannot finish it. The event code should read as below but "Murblum" was named "Marblum". I've attached the fixed file.

Code: Select all

[event]
	name=moveto
	first_time_only=no
	[filter]
		id=Xalzar,Argessilaoss,Murblum
		x=68,69
		y=21-23,21-24
	[/filter]
	[if]
		[have_unit]
			id=Xalzar,Argessilaoss,Murblum
			x=68,69
			y=21-23,21-24
			count=3
		[/have_unit]
		[then]
			{03_ENDING_DIALOGUE}
			{ENDLEVEL_VICTORY}
		[/then]
	[/if]
[/event]
If you're mid level then you'll need to do the following:

1) Overwrite the "03_Up_and_Under.cfg" file with the one attached.

On windows it's here (assuming you have a standard setup of windows and wesnoth):

C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\My Games\Wesnoth1.14\data\add-ons\Xalzar_Quest\scenarios

2) Unzip the save file. Edit it and replace "Marblum" with "Murblum".

3) Open Wesnoth, go into PREFERENCES. In the GENERAL tab you'll see a CACHE button. Click it and choose PURGE.

That worked for me.

The campaign is very difficult. I did manage to finish it on hard difficulty but the first two scenarios were extremely difficult. After a couple of restarts I got through them. Once you levelled up some units then the last two scenarios are fairly straight forwards. Only being able to recruit level 0 saurians for the whole campaign makes it almost impossible to finish if you lose a couple of units. So when it goes bad just reload a previous save.

Scenario 1 - The Departure
Spoiler:
Scenario 2 - Crossing the river
Spoiler:
Scenario 3 - Up and under
Spoiler:
Scenario 4 - Home sweet home
Spoiler:
Scenario 1 replay (hard)
Scenario 2 replay (hard)
Scenario 3 replay (hard)
Scenario 4 replay (hard)

Move replays as request, added links above.
