Modifying the "language_name" attribute

Post by Choicerer »

Hi.
I'm trying to modify a unit type name in-game, via a modification. The unit attribute "language_name" is just that, it corresponds to "name" in their .cfg definitions. It can be stored in a container, it can be viewed in debug mode, but it appears it can't be modified (neither via unit language_name="Navy Seal" in debug mode nor [modify unit] language_name="Navy Seal" [/modify unit]). I need to do it in-game, because I want users to be able to play with the modification without having to download it. Am I doing something wrong or is there really no way to change the name of a unit type in-game?
Thanks.

That attribute seems readonly. I suspect this can only be showed differently by using wesnoth.theme_items.
