generalities about Jundis:

You may know this already, but just to be sure... Part of a middle-eastern inspired faction (persian/arabic), they are light infantry armed with a small axe and a bow. They also carry a round shield. You can look at the sprite and description for a reference

specific description of the character:

Khafir is a member of the ruling family of his home town and a young officer. At the beginning he probably is around 17-19 years old, but most of the campaign is set seven years later. After a defeat in war, far away from his home, he and his solder are forced to seek the protection from a powerful dwarvish king, who demands that they stay at his service and fight for him in the underground. The story is about his attempt to escape from the darkness and find the way home, so I imagine his feelings make him nostalgic and worried for the responsibilities toward his soldiers, to lead them safely back to their families. Moreover, I'd say that he is more the rational than the impulsive type. I hope this says enough to give you some ideas, if you want to know more just ask!

No, it's possible (and pather) to edit unit files, especially add-on ones (editing mainline files can depend on the OS of the user.). The hardest part (in my opinion) is making the art itself.

race description: Marashy are a hybrid race, so their looks can vary greatly. They mostly ressemble humans, but have different skintones (most often greyish, purpleish or greenish), and can have features from other races (like pointy ears). Some of them have coloured scales on their body.

character description: I'm looking for a portrait for the antagonist in the campaign, but he's also featured in my era so the portrait wouldn't go to waste if I don't make the campaign.
this is his sprite:

He should have a greyish skintone. His head could be partly hidden behind the hood, but if you want you could also make a fully revealed face. He has black-grey hair and pointy ears (but smaller than elves). He is kinda ageless, so maybe looks between 30-50.

Most importantly are the scales which partly cover his face and body (though only the scales on the face would be visible). They should look like the portrait below but grey-green instead of red.

I think you mean the chains attaching scabbard to his waist.

I don't have any competence to provide technical comments, but I must say that his expression and look fit really well the character and the story, I think they perfectly conveys his feeling in the cumbersome situation he is in, great job!
One comment is that from this sketch, he looks really young, but I suppose that depends on the details of the face not being sorted out yet.

Old enough as a 25 imo, unless what you want is not age, but certain traits, signs or you name it on his face.
If that is what you mean, what is it you want to add?

Yes, it could be that the skin looks very smooth or the fact that I was imagining him with some light facial hair, as saracens were often depicted. I'll let you decide according to your taste, it looks great anyway.

Again, I think it would be nice if you posted shrunk sketches, and not full-size ones. The portrait itself looks cute, btw (and much better than The_Gnat's). It's nice that it isn't designed for a specific character, meaning that It can be used for multiple campaigns/characters.
