General Frankensprite Thread

Post by Nikitaw99 »

Since there isn't a thread for posting generally any BFW frankensprites, I decided to make my own.

Just post your frankensprites here.

Here's mine:
Basically, I tried to give the Elvish Fighter the sword of the Elvish Champion unit.

here is what could work for the lvl3:
you can improvise on the blade shape, the main proposal of mine is to use the Elvish High Lord's head

Rise from the dead, old silent thread!

I have a few frankensprites that I think are good enough someone might find them useful, but I'll likely never have enough to start my own thread. So this seems like a good place for them.

First, an ox cart, made for Grnk the Mighty:

Based off of Shield's version of the peasant children, a very young child. In game, he looks comically short and tubby.

EDIT: Reduced the shadow size

Easily the worst one I'm posting (but definitely not the worst one I've made) is a farmer. Could be useful as a level 1 version of the peasant. As you can see, I got lazy during the defense frame, and heaven only knows what he's doing with his feet:

Finally, a lumberjack. I did a little recoloring on the face (which is from the ruffian) to try to match the bandit's arms, but it still isn't perfect.

Nice! :D I like what you have done. All are good and would be usefully, however I think the farmer shows the javelineers helmet in his animation.

They look very nice, but I think in the lumberjack animation there is some unwanted translation? Or is it the way the GIF is produced? His right foot should be still in the last frames, but it seems to shift down by few pixels in the last 1 or 2 frames, which looks strange.

Skateboarding, i'd say. Please add a board. ;)

I noticed that but figured it wouldn't be important because in game he'd be moving fast enough that the 1 pixel bump wouldn't matter. But it's an easy fix anyway, so since you bring it up I fixed it (and updated that post).

 Unfortunately, my art skills are purely limited to frankensteining, and i don't have a skateboard sprite. But even if I did, I think the fugitive would make a much better boarder:

Hey, would you mind me using the lumberjack for a campaign? Would be very helpful!
