I made a few new versions. The first one is the old shield and the last one is the current one.
Version 2 has a bit more TC on the egdes than the old Version. In Version 3 TC and gold colour are swapped (so it has a small golden outline, which the current Version doesn't have).
Version 4 is like the current version, but with a wider iron edge. Of course I can make some further changes, but I'd like to narrow it down to one Version first.

I insist that the current one looks good enough, any differences among current and 3-4 are such extremely minor that im sure nobody would ever bother to examine that close-by in order to notice it.

I concur that the current one looks fine.

Perhaps we should adopt the approach used in streamlining the drake anim's. If there is an fix amount of frames to draw per unit, per animation tag, across all units of one race things could get going faster.
There could be some notable exceptions like larger units like cavalry etc. being allowed an couple extra frames but in general that would help a lot to facilitate contributions, me thinks.

Shocktrooper animations are finished.

Also here is the new defense frame (defense-2) with a slightly turned shield (defend-1 for reference). It's not super noticeable, but if I turn it too much I'd have to rework the whole shield.

I'll wait a few days for comments and then post all frames and the cfg files in a zip file.

This is probably safe to go in - the only thing we'll want added(?) is the typical motion-blur/swoosh on a couple key attack frames; I'm not sure if I can't see it because of the gif-on-white-bg or if it just hasn't been added yet.

Thanks for doing this. :D

Currently there is only one weapon blur on the 3rd attack frame. Should I add one for the 2nd frame aswell?

Yes, but has to be short, just enough to display the swing motion has begun.

I have noticed inner side of the shield at Shocktrooper got also teamcoloured and shows during the attack anim, please make it look like Iron Mauler shield's inner side instead.
