Re: Zoomo's Art
I think it would be great if someone will create zombie sprites for gryphons
Because for now game uses drakes sprites for zombified gryphons.
Would be good feature for those who makes campaigns with non-human zombies. I myself intrested.

I think a Lv.3 berserker should be called something like a Draserker

Re: Zoomo's Art
If "someone" or maybe Zoomo wants to make another zombie sprite, I think wolf riders are needed much more than gryphons. They are a lot more common, and it looks wrong to have their wolves change into horses.Aldarisvet wrote:I think it would be great if someone will create zombie sprites for gryphons
I like your fugitive a lot! Hopefully someone won't mind animating it.
I have a ship scenario in one campaign, so I may need to steal your quartermaster and deckswab if you don't mind. Why don't you have the quartermaster hold a belaying pin? I think a whip would also be appropriate.

It doesnt make sense for Orcs to get transformed into humans post-death, or Naga into Merfolk, too.

Re: Zoomo's Art
Well, quetion is only why it doenst make sense? Answer for is how much zombie should reflects his living form? As I look on zombies which we have now (for human units and similar to them as orcs/elfs) its quite far from original living form. Thats the reason why Orcs and Elfs can be transform in to zombies which looks same as the one created from human. Ocourse if you have time you can create little smaller form for elfs or more muscular for orcs.Eagle_11 wrote:It doesnt make sense for Orcs to get transformed into humans post-death, or Naga into Merfolk, too.

Here is the Drake Soulless frames.vultraz wrote:I just noticed this thread with the Soulless Drake. Looks much better than the old-style one we have now. Could you pack all the frames up into a zip file?

I fixed the shadows and and color slightly, and committed (da255abad7a9) the Soulless Drake. Thanks for doing this

Re: Zoomo's Art
The last one is really nice but the animation is too fast and the parts seem to go in different (wrong) directions. While one part goes up I would assume the others to do so also, unless it's some sort of steam machine. I assume the shadow is like that because of the gif-format.

Re: Zoomo's Art
Seriously, did you call your empire the Imperial Empire?
That's like the Kingly Kingdom or the Republican Republic
Your steam infantry sprite looks great though, just one small issue:
I see the steam boiler on his back, I see the armor bouncing up and down, but I don't really see what the steam boiler is powering. I would imagine that power would go to the legs and arms perhaps, but steam power generally implies fat external pistons or something similar, as it is your guy looks a little like a guy in armor who has a steam-boiler on his back which makes his armor shake.
Unless it's a steam robot, that might work without external pistons, etc, I assumed not though because you drew a similarly armed and armored soldier above.
Put cogs on it!
PS: still looks good and I like the jerky action of the animation.

...apparenly we can't go with it or something.
Re: Zoomo's Art
Not super fond of how this one turned out, something about him seems off. He is a mounted leadership unit for reference.

Re: Zoomo's Art
He is too far back on the horse. I think that's why it looks wrong.
