I've cloned the skeleton's bob animation to the skeleton archer. I've reduced the movement of his arms though, because the bow certainly weighs less than the great axe of the skeleton and thus the bow has a lighter impact.

The .zip contains the single .pngs and a small edit of the archer-attack.png (fixed the blurred shadow).

edit: some time ago I also fixed the shadows of the footpad and the poacher

Hello again folks!

Today I had finally some time to spare (dammit, RL) and tinkered around with... three guesses with which unit it was this time.
This time, I tried to murder the poor, poor Adept by blocking a standing animation for it. It has 6 frames, four of which are unique. Here it is:

I've also got a north-facing baseframe, but no anim whatsoever yet. I suppose I will have some more time tomorrow. Anyway, the frame.

Please let me know how bad you think it is :D!

Hey there! Had a shot at the NE frame. Even I think something looks off on it, but I cannot pinpoint what it is. I've spent already upwards of two hours trying not to make him look like an ugly colored dick. Seriously, I had managed to make his hood look like a male sexual organ and not realise it. Anyway, now that this little bodybuilder (his arms are a tiny bit too big imho) is SFW, here it goes. Also, I have almost finished blocking his north-facing standing anim, will probably post later.

Do not worry too much about the static hood shading, it will change. I did that on the baseframe to see how I will shade it roughly and was kinda too lazy to move it up and down with the borders.

By the way, I think the ulf's bob may be a bit excessive, a bit too... energetic to put it that way. I think it would suit a 1 or 2 second pre-combat anim better (he is inhaling and then blowing like if hyperventilating or something, like preparing his berserker fit against a unit who is not as laughable as an adept...). Mind you, I'm just a beginner in this, so take my nitpicks with two or three grains of salt, but to me it seems that his right knee jerks in and out of place, making his leg of varying length, and that his shadow waxes when it should get smaller and vice versa. But overall I like it.

I just hope that the ulf's owner does not autokill my adept dead :D... or better, that he kinda does :D

EDIT: Those touchpad mice are half-of-post-deleting dren.

After seeing my animations again I realise how crude they all were and I wanted to try again. I completely revamped my idea for an archmage animation and am starting from blocking this time. Good bad?

I'm not sure exactly what to do on the feet...
