Post by Zamoon »

Sorry for wasting your time, but does Wesnoth count days using weekdays? (such as Monday, Tuesday etc).

One again, i apologize for asking a very dumb question. So here is a dwarf:

As far as I know, there aren't any official names for months or days of the week on the Wesnothian calendar. I would just write "the 27th day of the fifth month," or something similar. However, as a campaign author, there's nothing stopping you from making up your own day names if you want to do so. It seems likely to me that elves, humans, orcs, and dwarves would all have different calendars.

The only mainline reference (diary entries in TB) circumvented that problem as Sapient mentioned; by using the format
22 IX, 365 YW

The numeric form makes it a little less obvious that you evade naming names... might fit slightly better for you as well?
