Yep I understand this, but for playing while I should work in the office by myself, it is great
* I have one version on external disk (portable apps) which i can use without install. I can tell you that the game is working on any OS I have check it from xp and windows server 2003 to the windows server 2012r2.

We should download some eras, and check if some faction are cool...
Era of Chaos is heavily out of balance for standards eras, right?
Beyond Southern Hell (A.N.O. , felinian) and Age of trial(pretty much all) hera got something sweet that can be added imho

Ageless Era 4.12 is out on the 1.10 and 1.12 add-on server

Means this is without lightshifter, fleshpool and such. Lua part might not be too good but it seems to work.
This version is likely last for wesnoth 1.10
Real update is planned near end of year, and critical one[though for 1.12 it might include more, depends on release time] at 1.12 release that might happen at any time.

I found 3 bugs with frost faction, 2 are with attack icons for lancemans (2 & 3 lvl) and other third bug is with 3 lvl heavy warrior (he have blade and cold melee attacks) his movement type is wrong set because he have everywhere 0% def and cant move.

Movetype is known and for 1.12 server fixed too, for 1.10 that is not option as that is used for mp play. About images I dont really know, if there is something suitable I can put but Im no artist.

The Hektor unit's images from Archaic still override the ones for archaic's version (so when you have both ageless and archaic eras installed, the archaic Hektor gets the ageless sprites)
When Ageless is installed, the portraits inside archaic era are messed up in the help (this happens to Archaic only when Ageless is installed) (attached img)
The Ageless' Sun-Wheel and Titan have the race set to Primeval instead of AE Primeval as Ageless Primevals do
Balance:
Primeval Warrior has 16-2 melee, the next level, Titan has 28-2 melee, the Archaic has those values 25-2 and 28-2. Is that huge leap intended?

These image problems.. Archaic and Ageless use different approach there and separately both work. From Archaic side I identified as cause but havent found what is it from Ageless side, adding same to ageless one doesnt help. The two wheel.png look same while having different file size so obviously I kept smaller one for ageless.
Warrior damage is oversight. Race will also be changed.
Cutter can be advanced to sunwheel that has melee, regardless if games show it is better with other traits I can change.

The primevals should be rebalanced then, as most values differ a lot from Archaic.
AD the strong trait: it is useless for cutters until L3 (and sometimes useless at all, as only Aerowheel and Sun-Wheel do have melee attack). In Archaic Cutters can't get strong (as in some last versions) and they get melee on L2.

This changelog is how I keep track of what I still need to do, once done I just move that line under different heading.
Also thought to say about this, posted sometime long ago,
I do not make graphics at all but code part I like and can write entirely new abilities too, like this runelaying that had description only but no ability code. I also remmember that some units are ok when played on ageless era, but a way too strong on RPG mode because of a stat that can be abused for player's convenience, likely 1-20 from a brungar dwarf.
For these units, it's just needed a kind of "rework" to the whole unit to make it less rpg abusable. Likely changing that 1-20 stat to 2-10 (that would mean +1 damage but -10 strikes at rpg mode, still, a way ballanced because it's does not have either marskman or magical likely some other ranged atacks) and on it's lv3 version chaging that 2-20 to 3-13 (1 damage point loss on ageless, who cares... but +1 damage for -7 strikes at rpg mod).
This is the kind of cases that a unit can be readjusted to ageless rpg by not being too changed in ageless era.

To be begin with, there are few things that annoy me more than hearing complaining about herbalist when there is ice rune improver that is way better than herbalist, with 2-20 magical slow.
I agree that these stats are problematic, with high initial damage this kind of situation is also possible. However stats arent something that can be reliably changed between rpg, for abilities I use additional condition to activate but stats changes might just get lost between advances.

Well I am here with another reballance job already done, but this time it has marked some more pending stuff to be done than in the 3 earlier jobs .-.
Lv2 prices adjusment may not be exact, but are more accurate than they were earlier. In resume, it was a buff to Eventide faction with few 10-20% bonus ressistances to particular atack types to make these units less cost inefficent, plus making them more fun on RPG/Survivals, A reworking of ressistances stats on Swamp saurian guardian lines (considering their 70% defense conditions on particualr terrains plus earleir 50% ressistance to blade and 40% to impact while on defense? that got lowered a bit) and readjustment of damage on units that had or too low or too much damage on Eltireans faction and generous price adjustment to lv1 Lady O War that was unnecessary expensive for worthless stats.
