I think the Germans are balanced. Im working on some changes for the italians. They are a little bit weak. The italian guns are my favourite, too. :wink:
Furthermore I try to find a good way to integrate Aircraft.

In the last few days, I wrote nothing here. But I dont wasted time and asked some of my contacts (musicians, spokesmen and graphic artists) to support me with their special skills.

So, whats coming next?

- new units for every faction
- special units like flamethrowers
- air units
- new music
- campaign (with voices and paintings)

I think I add these fractions France and Italy there is no greater sensu.W war played a small role, but instead you should add the USSR, the USA and Japan.
But you're doing a very nice graphics. :)

Many people ask me for USA etc. but my answer is still the same:
This era is for the early period of the second world war in europe(39-40). The United States and Japan joined later.

The USSR will come in the future. :)

Version 0.5 is available on official add-on Server.

Patchlog:
- 12 new units: 2 aircraft and 1 anti-air gun for each nation (You can take a look on the sprites here: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=37656)
- 2 new ranges
- 1 new damage category
- 2 new sounds
- reworked profiles to prepare for aircraft units

How will the upgrade system be? Will the units upgrade to some "veteran" status, or re-equipped with new tank models, for example?

Most units will upgrade to a new or "re-equipped" model. Maybe all, I cant say it definitaly.

A little Update:

First I will say thank you to Mordred. He is actually working on some historical and/or realistical maps for Battle for Westfront. (Without Mushroomwoods etc. :P )

Second, I want to tell you my plans for the future. I will release the next version in 4 steps. If I finished a nation with all sprites and animations, I release an Update and start working on animations for the next faction. The current status of the fully animated germans is 50%.

Looks very impressive! Yeah, I'm alive and hoping to see more :lol2: I'm also glad to observe how nice you have already developed; progress is noticeable... love that fire from exploding gun! After you will upload the next version I will definitely playtest it and leave some feedback.

I strongly recommend this Era to everyone. I know what I am saying, I am a pro 1337 skilled & superior player.

Lulz, no, seriously, Battle for Westfront is great! One of the best addons I have ever played, we need more addons like this one...
