The Legend Begins
The Tale of Jahin, the greatest hero the Great Isle, or perhaps the world of Irdya, has ever known. Watch his legend unfold before your very eyes.
Finally, my masterpiece campaign has been uploaded to the servers. Currently under development.
Main Characters
Jahin - Human - A 21 year old youth who 'accidently' gains immortality and is trying to defeat the forces that threaten to destroy or devastate Arkenova. Little does he know the his adventure to eradicate evil would take him around the world of Irdya.
The statement in italic is a plot for the campaign sequel.
Faria - Human- Jahin's love interest for the campaign. She is an elementalist specialised in summoning earthen elementals and she is versed well in offensive magic spells. Although her character loses significance after the first episode, she rejoins you in the third and final one.
Morin (later, Mor-Inal) - the antagonist. He claims to be the Dark Elementalist, the only human known to have mastered the study of elemental magic. He hates Jahin for 'stealing' the immortality which was rightfully his. He is a sadist, preferring to annoy Jahin with his frequent attacks, regardless of the fact that he has enough power to enslave the entire continent and possibly even the world.

The first level was very fun, however it hinges on making the peasants revolt at exactly the right time, normally turn 3. The Goblin chief was manageable on easy, but on further levels it was very difficult to keep him alive. Maybe he could have a couple of level 2 bodyguards? The misty forest was a little boring due to the vast amounts of forest, which made for a very slow journey. Luckily the map was relatively small, and the match-up was quite interesting. However, I didn't even bother recruiting for this level and the next, I had so many loyals and leaders. I felt relieved when I learnt we'd finally reached the academy. The levels with the trolls were very fun-however there were far too many leaders. Kaliban was awesome, it looked like one of Zerovirus's sprites gone wild! The web level was a bit underwhelming after all those undead, but it was an interesting match-up. The drakes level was fun, as was seeing that awesome dragon. The last forest was another interesting battle, but the next scenario was just boring. I feel there should be an over-arching storyline, a greater enemy, something bigger that binds the story together. Also, don't make Sir Zhon a deathlord, as then it kind of spoils the effect of Kaliban. There are a few mistakes in the dialogue, which I'll point out later. I love the idea of a great war, it develops very well, and the introduction of the Aragwaithi was a masterstroke. I do however have a problem- Shadowmaster says the Aragwaithi were founded by Adavyan long after the fall, are you sticking to this or is it still set before Wesnoth? Overall, the campaign thus far feels like DM, a vast epic, yet told on a personal scale, with a bit of SotBE as well.
EDIT: the level with Azorgath was amazing. However I doubt they arrived a few "yards" outside the city walls, and unfortunately, all the Aragwaithi swarmed my keep after the second turn, which was very annoying.

Tried and finished on Normal. You have to rush your units across the river. If you have lvl2 Affan, he is invaluable here. You mean scenario 8 Dead Caves? That level's a pain in the ass, but I kept it like that. You have lvl 3 Titans, which undead generally avoid save for spectres, who enjoy bullying slow moving the titans. Their part in the campaign is like this - They were forced to flee as their homeland was invaded by the Steppe Orcs and Windsong. In 20YW, they return North and start to reclaim it, with the help of Jahin, of course, but that's the plot a campaign sequel. I should fix that story typo. The Ally AI is suicidal and I programmed to protect your units. They die, but let your troops live as you lost your former recall list.EDIT: the level with Azorgath was amazing. It was too easy, as the vampires clobbered the orcs, as did I , however they left their home unguarded and I got their leader, as they couldn't rush their units back quick enough.The forest description said that it was dense. I also did that because it stops both enemy leaders from clobbering from both sides.
They are mainly misuses of english, rather than actual errors. For example,Kaliban says "I am the first and forever" which doesn't make much sense. There were quite a few mistakes in Mysterious stranger as well.
On easy I rescued all three, with ease, on hard I had some difficulty, but did it. I also have a problem with a couple of the names-Rupert and William, as they don't sound as if they're from the period. Some more interesting names might fit better. Gartok took forever and I had to save-load on hard. And the passing of Barus...it might need a whole section to itself, I'll post some far more detailed feedback when I've completed it on hard. The empirical soldiers were taken from an add-on from the Ageless Era, and Ageless Era got these from another add-on, from the 1.2 server. If you want these to be a redone to current wesnoth standards then consult with the artist who drew them. Passing of Barus is still incomplete. I wonder how hard it will be with the feature. The events of my campaigns take place 2000 years before IftU actually began, so I won't be tampering with any of the After the Fall campaigns. He is still alive after the fall though, but no one knows his exact location.

That's why I cleared your recall list of the powerful elementals in scenario 13.

But "first and forever" doesn't make sense. By the way I think you meant eternal not ethereal.They are mainly misuses of english, rather than actual errors. Kaliban was the first emperor and during his reign he was cursed to live forever as an undead. So, he uses the phrase. Mysterious Stranger, if are referring to Krog, well, trolls don't speak english very well. Not all are intelligent as Gruu (SotBE).
And I don't mean Krog's dialogue, there are other mistakes-you say faria begins a "conversion", and they reach the "heart of forest", Kojac says "I never been there myself" and finally, "anymore" should be two separate words.
Also, in the level after the passing of Barus, you say "seize" rather than "cease".
Finally. it's not necessary to put the most before "deadliest"(the line by Prince Armand) in Brother against Brother.

It would be funny at least...AI allies will tend to jump into danger without even protecting themselves with troops, and in scenario 24, we wouldn't want that, would we?
EDIT: Also, I think a filler scenario after the passing of Barus is probably necessary, just so you can catch your breath before Brother against brother followed immediately by The Great Siege, because otherwise it's very tiring and, after seeing you have to do yet another vast battle scenario, one can feel inclined to just debug their way through the scenario...Finally, the objective " assist Kojac" in Brother against Brother is very vague.

The campaign has been enjoyable to play through on Normal difficulty, and seems very well made. However, I seem to be stuck on the 'Impressing Drakes' scenario, due to me and my allies being vastly outnumbered, me and my allies have <200 gold each, though each enemy orc has ~800 gold as well as a variety of loyals from the start. To make the scenario slightly easier on normal, perhaps by reducing enemy gold and/or increasing that of me and my allies would be highly appreciated.

Impressing Drakes? That scenario is simple, on Normal. All you need is Stone Titans, Rock Golems, Living Furnaces, or Lava Beasts. You have to kill a specific number of orcs first. Your allies are programmed to leave the leaders for you to kill. So, use lvl 3 Titans to literally squash your way through orcs. Use Mahir and Faria to damage the leaders, and then Jahin's lvl 3 marksman melee attack can deliver the coup de grace. Using the 150 gold I had I recalled my living volcano, all 3 of my stone titans, a fire wisp that I leveled into a fire ghost, a djinn, an experienced animated rock, and recruited a magical servant. I formed two lines in the caves, rotating my titans, volcano, Mahir, Jahin, the djinn, rock (leveled into a golem) and wisp, while the saurian and magical servant generally stayed behind, and Faria alternated positions based on necessity. I managed to complete the first objective, but am currently stuck with 17 units between my allies and I, while the orcs have 40 units remaining.

I tried it on hard, base gold, no recalls. It's not possible. With your recall list created in debug and your strategy, both slightly amended, I did it. I'll explain in depth later.
Thanks for the replay, I'll comment on it tomorrow, with my revisions to your strategy.
There is a single, fundamental problem for you: you have too little gold. You need a little more. Here's my strategy:
a) recruit 4 titans, and the rest should be magic servants.
b) the next keeps should be of magic servants, a fire spirit or two and animated rocks.
c) advance cautiously in a spearhead. Keep the titans at the point, and the level 1s in the middle, backed up by Jahin's and Mahar's leadership. Use faria and the fire spirits to weaken the warriors, finish them off with level 1s. Remove the crossbowmen quickly as they can hurt stone titans. The magic servants with leadership can be used to weaken enemies as well, with animated rocks as cannon fodder, and to pack a punch with leadership. Faria should be adjacent to the titans, as they are your most important units. Finally, don't expose Jahin and Mahar too much, but they are powerful fighters and can be useful.

I am trapped in the level "Assault on Azorgath" because almost all of the yellow aragwaith don´t move from their starting position and, this way, i don´t have enough units to stand the vampires assault. But even if they attacked i don´t know how i could defeat them, as i only start this level with 250 gold and my recall list only has 2 stone titans, all possible loyals we could have at this point at max level, some 2 level aragwaith from the previous level, 1 elvish shyde and 1 elvish druid. Any sugestions on how to pass this? I´m playing in normal difficulty.

Firstly, this level is very difficult. The aragwaithi have an AI that is programmed to protect your leader by acting as a human wall. I, too, questioned this, as they cannot help you in the attack on the city. It is practically impossible with the base gold, and relies on you having a very strong recall list. Most importantly, you must place your units strategically along the aragwaithi line, to reinforce weak points along it. Do not attack. You will, most likely, be crushed. Instead let the aragwaithi do the work, weakening the vampires, and slowly edging forwards with your own units. When you attack the actual city, only attack at one point, else you'll activate all the guardian vampires when you move in range of them. Do not be afraid to save-load, as this level is very difficult and unless you make each turn near perfect you'll probably lose with base gold. However, with a strong recall list on top of all the loyals, the level is very possible provided you remember each unit is precious-do not throw them away.

Okay, I'm back. Been busy with real life. The scenario Assault on Azorgath is possible with a minimum 280 gold. (Perhaps I should edit that in Normal and Hard). It's better to recall 2 Ethereal Orbs, lvl2 Aragwaith troops (recommended Longswordsman, Stongbow, ), and if you have excess gold left, recruit more aragwaith troops. Yes, you will suffer losses, but in every campaign you do. Sit and do nothing for first few turns and wait for the vampire attackers to clash with the yellow Aragwaith. Attack during the day and try to kill of as many units as possible during that time. Switch to defense during Night, and repeat procedure. Keep Sedoc shielded, he is very suicidal. I managed to complete that level in about 72 turns, but it could take longer once you miss the chance to cross the bridge at turn 72.

Downloaded 1.11, but I've decided to complete the campaign in 1.10 and later upgrade to 1.11. Besides a lot of editor buttons don't work...

Congratulations campaign, is very good.
But I have a problem in phase " TLB-Brother Against Brother", when my unit "Bladesman" will level up the game crashes with the message: ''GAme error: could not find the unit being advance to: Glaivers".
I'm using versin 1.10.1.
