First time I played this scenario, on turn 4 or 5 comes surprising for me the defeat message.WhiteWolf wrote:What do you mean Mal-Talar dies? He is expected to be petrified already, or is he not?
I did not understand why.
Then I restart, with the same defeat message on turn 6 or 7.
I still did not understand why.
Then I restarted again, switched to debug-mode.
Turned fog off, and then I saw him, the helpless lost Sorcerer, slaughtered by his enemy.
He don't move, but the other [ai] units attack him, he strikes back (without moving), and the he dies sooner or later.
You have to change that, or the player has no chance.
I played three times, and three times he gets killed.

OK, I just had the brilliant idea that I should play the scenario myself, and there is really something nasty going on, I'll fix it and then update.

Updated 0.1.4.
The {PETRIFIED UNIT ... } macro was the guilty, it had a misspelling when added petrified status.
But for safety's sake, I renamed the statue's ID from 'Talar' to 'Statue', so even if there is a bug (I doubt it), the game will not crash, only there won't be a statue.
Also changed:
- You can now advance Arya to Elite Elvish Halberdier.
- Developped the battleship war - your enemy can now recruit ships.
- Lots of smaller bugs fixed (thanks for Adamant14)
- Western History finished in the description.
- Rebuilt bridges (also did some embellishments).

Still same issue with me, and yes, I did update the campaign. third turn he dies, "Oh no, without the help of the undead, we're lost!" I updated 5 minutes ago.

Started playing just before, now I have Mal-Talar petrified, and with an id=Statue.
Do the following:
In the beginning, press ':', the type the command 'debug'.
Again ':', type 'inspect'
An inspection window pops up. Go to units, and skim if you have a unit with id=Talar. You should not have so.
Anyway, I had a better idea while playing I decided to make this scenario a bit more exciting - Mal-Talar won't be instantly petrified, but you will have to catch and kill him. If you can't -> defeat

I am on the ship scenario where u fight the elves and cant win i move all my ships to top of map near keep and nothing happens killed all the elves sea units

i did not know that just joined and i killded all enemy ships and moved the xanthos ship next to bridge is sword one of my ships? Nvm I put guy in different spot and it worked

Hmm...for the second time it occurs that its not clear what to do on that map...I shall add a dialogue that will explain it clearly

The objectives are it!!!
They must be clear.
When a player don't know what to do, he takes a look what the objectives say, don't you think?
