Personaly, I think the idea of a tree with head is kinda wierd. I mean, why would a tree need a head?
As for a wose faction, lets file that idea next to the "Drake Gunner" idea.

Nice to see that I´m not alone with my idea but a wose faction is a little bit too much

Aye. Tolkien's ents were said to have become like the trees they tended to, over the vast, vast stretches of time, but the core of their form was something different.frame wrote:It's not a tree, it's a Wose. Wesnoth ≠ LOTR, yet our woses are basically ents in form, if not in other things, such as stats. They are basically tall, thin humanoids who have come to resemble trees. They have all the features of humans, if not all of the capability to move.
One of the nicer things about this new graphic is the branches.
With little bit more of a 'head nub' & a couple of frames (defence & attack) I think it's a winner... (IMHO) Heck if you did the three frames for the three levels (with a bit of a head +/-) I'd try to get it in (With the blessing of the art people).frame wrote:Yes, I think it's well drawn (better than the current one), but I still would like a headJetryl wrote:One of the nicer things about this new graphic is the branches.

Are you going to redo them all or just this one? How does it compare size-wise with the others? Side-by-side, it looks like it might be a little short. Otherwise it looks really good.
Hope springs eternal.
