I wonder if the southern faction is the same race as the northern faction.
I find them more compact, perhaps smaller.

They are the same race and I am using the same basframe for both factions, so finding some units taller or smaller is on purpose, making them bulkier for instance.

Ok I think thatisthe tunic straight which gives me a few that. The silhouette is not marked. So it gives me the impression that the legs start at the bottom of the tunic.
By cons, compared to other factions, the arms are not short. It's your style. And the southern units are not smaller.
