I love the look of the soulless goblin, but those legs seem awfully far apart.

Nice observation A-Red, i based his dimensions off of the impaler's ranged frame. I didn't realize that it had a wider stance than normal. I fixed it.

I also finished the defend and death frames.

Very important frame for the soulless goblin.

Only one frame left to do, his regular and north attacks are done. Just the south attack left and this sucker will be finished.

No, you're not supposed to encourage it! :lol2:
Oh well, at least it motivated me to finally finish that dinky south attack frame.

I've attached a zip with all the frames of both the level 0 and 1 since i also did a little bit of tweaking to some level 0 frames (sans the boogie frames  ). As previously noted, the soulless attack and north attack frames are already finished and in the zip.

Edit: I'd like to note that megane did the first zombie bat and Jetrel made the original bats. I just copied off their work really.

Guh, it's been over a year since i posted the first gobbie zobbie frame.

There currently aren't any goblin corpses in game, are there? I remember thinking about it recently because when I killed a goblin with a zombie it turned into a human looking zombie. It was weird. Glad to see that there will be soon. :) Also, I love your file comments. xD

Committed what should be everything for the goblin:
- graphics
- the new variants in the corpse/soulless cfg files
- the tags in the spearman/impaler/rouser to use the goblin variant.

Goblin variants have 13 and 23 hitpoints for the wc/sl. This is a similar fraction to other races being zombified. I don't really give a [censored] about the particular values I chose, the balance folks can of course feel free to change at will.

This project is awesome... I hope the zombies get finished... While they won't show up often in mainline, all of these zombie variants might reach full potential if used in some UMC some day.

Hmm, that would give them less health than bat zombies which i don't think is right. I think it should be more like 15 for wc and 25 for the soulless. Just since i don't think any balance folks are going to get around to doing anything about it on their own, and i mess around with lvl 0s in local games a lot.

Your gun
Some ammo
There is the enemy go for it.
Well here is my try for the zombiewolf... it was needed, right? :)

Image

This is my first try at making wesnoth graphs and also my first attempt to post the graphs on the forum so I hope I done it right...
I basicly just took the normal wolf raider, removed the goblin raider, edited left back leg, moved the head up and changed colours.

So is it ok to take old graphs and use them to make new graphics?

btw: didn't do anything to the shadows yet.

So what you think? should I try to work it more, or just delete it and try again?

I think you should rather be animating this one.

Apart from that you should know that Jetrel is working on a update on the wolfbaseframe:

There isn't one, but if you want inclusion it must meet the current animation standards. As I understand them they are:

1. Complete set of attack animations, each 6-10 frames long, in each direction.
2. Complete defence animation, possibly in all directions.
3. If it flies - uhum - a full standing animation is needed.
EDIT: If some sprites don't match up, it's because they're old.

And by the way, isn't that head and those legs just grayscales of the current Gryphon?
