Working well and is very usefull.

Few nice to have things:

1. The middle section is scaled wider when pulling the window. Can that be stopped?

2. I would like to set the default-start option manually. Like 200% and blue or so.

3. Can you make a all in one view? Maybe only for 100%. Showing 9 different colors on 300x300 pixel.

Might be nice in the palette editor to have an eyedropper that can pick colours from the open image.

EDIT: Also, for the Mac version at least, is there any chance of not quitting when you close the window?

Not at this point. I only know that RCX works on Mac OS X, but I don’t know exactly how it works and I can’t do anything to improve or change things for Mac OS X in particular without access to a Mac myself — and I’m not going to waste a preposterous amount of money on such a thing when what I actually need—urgently—right now is a PC.

I always assumed that (just like in Windows) a normal non-system-tray application would simply quit once its last window is closed, so I guess this isn’t actually the case on Mac OS X, since you are asking? Note that it’s not my intention to indulge in non-standard application design on foreign platforms either.

Since the menubar's at the top of a screen, many applications stay open when their last window is closed, leaving the menubar as the only way to interact with them. Some do quit when you close their last window, but I think they're something of a minority (or games; games usually do that).

Ported to Qt 5 and C++11.
Added more unit team colors introduced in Wesnoth 1.14 (light red, dark red, light blue, bright green, bright orange, gold).
Palette Editor: Update palette icon after recoloring.
Main: Zoom view in/out using Ctrl++ (plus) or Ctrl+- (minus).
Main: Zoom view in/out using Ctrl+<vertical scrollwheel>.
Main: Made it possible for the user to choose any custom color for the preview background.
Also forgot to mention anywhere else that it now has an icon of its own so people don’t mix it up with Wesnoth itself

hrubymar10 has kindly provided me with a macOS app version that’s up on GitHub and linked above now. I can’t provide a signed version at this time, so I’m told you may have to go through some hurdles to get it to run as is the norm for unsigned apps.

Update: the mac version does not run. I can download it but crashes immediately open trying opening it.

Also the app isn’t notarized, so you have to open it using right-click on app in Finder and selecting open (this will be required just for the first time).

Hello, I did the right click way, but yet anything.
I could re-download a fresh version and try it that way with right click again.

I know, I know, it's been a long time, but I haven't forgotten about this project. And unlike last time, I'm actually in a position now where I will be able to provide you with a properly tested and functional macOS build in addition to the Windows one as soon as I'm done preparing some other stuff (including making everything work and be deployable on Windows nicely again).
