Hello Wesnoth board!

I was eyeballing Battle for Wesnoth in the app store for a couple months now and when it went on sale for .99 I picked it up. I am very happy I did and a bit sad I never knew about this game.

I used to play various RTS games back in the golden age of Blizzard.

Wesnoth is awesome!

Here is a big hat-tip and warm thank you to the developers and the community as a whole.

I look forward to playing some of you on MP once I finish HttT.

I'm interested to hear that you paid for Wesnoth, not that I wouldn't, just that I didn't know people did.

Wishing you many happy hours playing downloading campaigns (hopefully that won't take hours) and perhaps one day making your own.

Having never heard of Wesnoth I had passed it up on the App Store (iPod) for a long time. About a week or so ago I saw it on sale for a buck and gave it a whirl.

After I found this site a few days ago I was amazed when I saw that this excellent game is available as a free download. This has to be one of the most balanced strategy games I've ever played.

I suggest to you to learn playing a 1vs1 againist human players or againist the AI. I must notice you the AI is not very smart but it get lucky frequently.
