Playstation 2

Post by JackBarber »

Hey, I've been thinking about getting a PS2 but I'm not sure where to get it...

I don't exactly trust E-Bay sales, and I'm not sure a Garage sale would have everything I need.
Would it be a good idea to just get it for like $119 Bundled with a Memory Card and a Game, or should I check for a lower price and pay those things separately?

I got mine for $75 with 12 games, 2 controllers, 2 8Mb memory cards and a free fix if something ever happened.

I reckon you can probably find them for real cheap, as it is a fairly old console now. But the price you found it for would still be worth it, it is, comparing them in the context of their own eras, the best console ever made, IMO. And even comparing to modern day standards, it is the second best console you can buy (second to the PS3).

That would heavily, heavily depend on the games you want to play.

Oh, Well I'm mostly into RPGs, and FPS games.
I've heard CoD 3 is good, and I've actually played FF:X/10 a bit at my cousin's house.
(I do have more games in mind to get though guys... XD)

PS2 is THE best console ever, in my opinion. I have mine for over 8 years now and it never crashed, it's very quiet, it looks nice and I have dozens of games for it. Medal of Honor, Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Hogs of War -I have them all 8)

Oh speaking of PS2 and games...
About how much do you think I could get away with by selling some PS2 Sports games?

*some* money :D
Jokes aside, there are still new games coming out for ps2 so I think they would be worth just like any other used game :hmm:

old football games will sell for under $10. Once, the storekeeper PAID my brother a dollar to not sell him the game!
