Re: The Warpworld-Graphics

I used Vue 6 Easel to render it. It is a pre-made sculpture included in the library, actually. You can create your own, but for my purposes that one was faster and easier than starting from scratch. I assigned and edited the material and positioned the lighting and camera, but the actual model was pre-made. :)

Was it a free program(GPL specifically)? If so I'd like to try it sometime.

Necroed

Well, I ressurected this thread to discuss some graphics for my latest campaign in progress, The Shadow Council. Below are the preliminary sprites for a faction in the campaign-the A'Kar. They are all a mixture of frankies, edits and recolours (my spriting skills leaving a lot to be desired), but I'm fairly happy with the mages and the level 1 + 2 mummies. The others, however, have some flaws. The major one is that they are too small, and I will attempt to fix that, but I'd like to know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Vladcara

I love the mummy, can I steal it?

Actually I like all your images, just that I would have done them differently.
One of those pointless posts, what I mean is that any disagreements with what you have done come from my own personal tastes (like the pharoah beard being more historical-looking), not because I think you should change them.

(that's a compliment, it doesn't sound like it, but it is)
...apparenly we can't go with it or something.

@ Midnight Carnival: Thanks. And if you want the mummy, go ahead and take it

I am now presented with something of a quandary. I recoloured a couple of other mummies from another era, but now Midnight Carnival tells me he loves the old ones. Well, I'll post the new mummies anyway, and we'll see which you guys think are best

Okay, update!

Below is the new unit tree. The pharaoh line has undergone an overhaul, and I'm much happier with this version than the previous ones. The desert warrior line has been made slightly taller, along with a few other small changes, and I fixed up the Khepesh's sickle a bit

I'm still not entirely happy with the level one pharaoh and the level one and two desert warriors. Anyone got any advice?
