Ok, finished the Flesh Artisan. I'll take care of the sizing and the transparency tomorrow.

I did play through Count Kromire a little while ago, and there is one Windsong character that is somewhat important to the campaign. At the very least, I hope to do a portrait for her, so that the campaign will have a slightly more complete portrait list. That being said, I should probably paint an image of a male level 3/4 vampire that can double as Kromire's portrait. I'm going to work on my landscape painting of Southbay a little more, and then it'll be time to paint some Vampire spellcasters. Maybe after that I'll paint the Windsong lady.

Firstly I'd liek to congratz Evilest on capturing the nature of the race in a nice new style, make a change from vamps either being the old crippled men (Nosferatu) or this new age teenager in boring clothes, shallow personality etc...

Slightly off topic, i know its open source and all but politness who would it be best to ask about messing around with the vamps stats and abilities/ balancing, i feel they could be slightly changed to reflect these portraits a bit, though that might just be me.

Although Era of Myth's creator (JW) isn't around anymore (to the best of my knowledge), I thinkg Velensk as been its maintainer for some time (although quite not that much anymore, I think). You can still go to this thread and talk about it, I guess.

EVILEST: Again, awesome work. Your work shows a level of sophistication and inventiveness that I find really inspirational. I don't mean to give empty praise though, I just felt like I had to say something to express my admiration of your work. :)

@PeterPorty: What was the point to that rediculous post? Honestly. There are more constructive and mature ways of complimenting someone.

Your Vampires and the Devlings you did look really great!
Are you planning to do the other races as well? I'd like to see your Warg, and some Elementals, especially the Vine Tiger.

Indeed awesome portraits :Awesome:

I do like a lot the nailers portrait, I would like more portraits of devlings more often hehehe. Myths is one of the most balanced era and now with portraits, I will comment it to my friends :D

I too just found this thread, and I just wanted to say that I'm positively appalled at the lack of props for the Sword Dancer portrait. That hat is awesome! It's my favorite portrait in this thread so far.

I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of your work.

What, as in "mad props" -(I've never used that apalling phrase in my life)-?

Although I'd bite my own mother to have EVILEST's talent, I'd not like to be in EVILEST's shoes at present:
what I've read on the other EVILEST art thread leads me to the conclusion that he (presumably) is currently trying to work towards a more Wesnoth-compatible style and or improve the current EVILEST style. For those of you who haven't tried altering the way you express your creativity, let me assure you that this is really hard. I'd definately count myself among those supporting EVILEST and hoping to see more portraits, but perhaps we should go a little easy on the requests for a while? :lol2:

Hey guys, just a small update here.
No vampire spellcasters yet! A Devling on steroids will have to do for now...

There's some blending and details yet to be taken care of, but he'll be done soon.
