Woah!!
Umm, is he supposed to have a hole in his head?! Or is that a mistake?

Re: SFault's franken art
You're absolutely right. I checked. Maybe you should notify one of the powers?
Ecce, in caelo! Est avem! Minime, est vehiculum aerem! Minime, est virum Latinum!
Re: SFault's franken art
I think I remember seeing the same problem with the Great Wolf (the L2 wolf without a Goblin) on one of its defense animations
Again, I think I remember seeing it

Aero dynamics you see...Captain_Wrathbow wrote:Umm, is he supposed to have a hole in his head?! Or is that a mistake?
I checked out every wolf frame (also the monsters) and found seven pics with obvious missing pixels. There were also numerous things that might have been missing, but if I wasn't absolutely sure I counted them as hair or movement-effect. The question is, does anyone really care. The pics look great and it really takes some zooming work to notice those.

Re: SFault's franken art
Actually, a lot of the older sprites have semi-transparent/missing pixels. I imagine that will be fixed at some point, but ATM it isn't a pressing concern.

Re: SFault's franken art
If anybody's looking for them, me an' my brother whipped up some frames for "Necro-Delfador." Here's a couple for interested folks:
thanks for the base image, SFault!Projects: Ice Age Fun, Japhel's Journey (same link), Shameless Crossover Excuse (Maintainer), and Age of Dinosaurs!

Re: SFault's franken art
I'm working on this. Did few tweaks on the base and decided to fix all the frames. After that I will also release the WIP layers, so others can easily change the color of the beard, skin and robe if they will.
Re: SFault's franken art
Here is the lvl 5 wizard with black robe, pale skin and skullstaff. I'll be posting the masks to the franken-pack. I guess that is ok?
If possible, I would recommend NOT to use white TC with the unit. Looks a bit silly.

Tripel post.
I made a tiger. There's something wrong with the shading or the stripes, but I can't put my finger on it.

Re: SFault's franken art
doesn't look bad but for two things:
1, you need to smooth the curves on the back a little more - use smaller jumps in the number of pixels per horizontal.
2, you need a LOT more contrast in your shading. This looks completely flat right now, particularly in the lack of distinction between the underside and the top part.

Re: SFault's franken art
I really don't understand this. The width is kinda fixed, so I cannot change the ratio without reducing the actual height. Naturally I cannot make half a pixel jumps either.thespaceinvader wrote:use smaller jumps in the number of pixels per horizontal.

Re: SFault's franken art
As promised:
What I mean is to try to avoid, uneven lines - smooth curves in pixel art are very important.

Thanks TSI, I think I got now what you ment. But the tigger shall wait, I head for doing portrait to War of Terrador.
Since I'm not too used to scan and color my work I decided to do some training here before aiming to the real work. So useful critic is very welcome. Usually I ink by hand, but now I used photoshop magic. I'm not exactly sure if the left forearm should show a bit behind the gun. The pose is bit stiff and I will try to do more dynamic poses after getting hang of the coloring/shading. Besides, he is in army anyways, should stand stiff.
