How do I cancel out a unit selection?

Post by Molean »

It use to be easy to check a enemy units movement rang with with older versions of the game. Just select said unit and it shows you. But now if I have one of my units already selected, it shows that units movement/attack window instead. If I choose a unit of mine that has its movement already used up, that frees up the cursor for checking enemy units movement distance, but surely there is a more efficient/user way then that? How do I un-select, a selected unit of mine?

Uhm, doesn't clicking a open hex work anymore?

...wouldn't that order your unit to move?

Anyway, to deselect a unit, right-click on any hex.

That's actually what I meant, sorry for not being precise enough.

Just right clicking on a hex should be good, you're talking about 1.8 i assume, right? I have no idea about the development versions, but right clicking should be fine.
