I think someone's talking about the cobra skeleton.
Correct.

The back legs on the flesh hound look as if they're on higher ground than the front ones.

You are an Arch Mage - You're definitely intelligent, but some people would say you spend too much time inside. The power you have learned, however, is simply unmatched.

Okay, my bad. :)

This second version is a definite improvement over the first, yes. I love your shading technique on these guys, BTW.

His far left leg seems too be a little awkwardly positioned. Hmm... :hmm:

Back to doing the crossbowmen for usr-bin. I've dropped the old level 2 and 3 sprites and I'm redoing them.
Here is the level 2 ,with the level 1 and the heavy trooper line for comparison.

Their helmets seem small compared to the rest of them. (that is, in comparison with the body.) It almost seems as if a troll came along and flattened it. The second guys eye slits are a bit high on his helmet, and I don't think he could see anything because his eyes should be lower than that. (my opinion)

These are great in terms of shading and lighting, but their chests are way to big compared to the average Wesnoth unit. The human torso isn't vertical, it's shaped sort of like an hourglass, so the chest would be broader than the stomach, and the hips would also be somewhat broader than the stomach. In the picture above, compare the width of your units' torsos to those of the mainline units below. My only other comment is that, in the first level the eye-slits of the helmet are much farther down than those of the 2nd level, which makes it look as though the 2nd level unit can't see anything.

Top right guys head needs some working out. He also looks cyborg like for some strange reason. I know why. :D It's a samus aran stance. Low down head, with the robot like arms holding the gun like that.

I'm having a lot of trouble reading it. Top left guy looks squished, fat and fuzzy. Aaaaaaaaaaand (here we go again lol) stiff.

Overall, good job.

Right, total redesign. Less of the "more is better" I'm going to go with the "less is more".

Nice. :D
Neck needs more shadow.

Crossbow needs to look less like a pickaxe. I like the silver scheme, please keep it, but the shape needs work.

And his left leg needs to look more like it's attached to the ground, right now it makes him look like he's hopping.

Other than the crossbow's shape, I really like this guy :) !
I'm finally admitting that this will be a very long (if not permanent) Wesbreak. Thank y'all for the great times, and may Wesnoth rise to become one of the most popular games on the planet.

The left (his left) foot is at a funny angle. By which I mean the perspective is just fine, but he seems to be standing on it awkwardly.

Is this better? Straightened out the leg and fixed up the crossbow.
