I was wondering if I could request some help...

I'm working on my campaign, but I need a new dwarf character (actually 3...) to be the lord. If someone has some time to make the characters (I can wait like up to 3 or 4 weeks because I can still work on the scenarios), that would be awesome.

If someone can, I'm looking for a dwarf with brown hair and beard, that starts with just chainmail (or something similar) and a hammer, then it promotes to chainmail (or something similar) with a viking horn helmet and a hammer and throwing axes for his ranged, and then plate mail with a viking horn helmet, and a hammer and throwing axe. And if the artist is so inclined to add what he/she likes to the unit, I would be perfectly fine with that as long as it doesn't detract from my general idea.

I should be able to do the WML file to set up the animations, so all I really need is the spriting.

Suggest you use one of the mainline units as a placeholder. And listen to what Issyl says.

The newlord1 looks balanced enough "composition wise" as an unit, dunno what do you intend to use for (since it isn't armored enough) but for a specific hero unit (lvl 1) would do nicely. (especially if you changed him a bit more from the normal thunderer (different hair style/color?)

The newlord2 attemp isn't likeable visually, the helm is bigger than the head is placed on, and it "shows too much" clogging the image, normally the second weapon (the hatchet) would be made invisible except when he intends to use it.

The first dwarf is good, although maybe tweak his beard some so it's not the same as the thunderers. However, the second needs some fixing. He looks too thin to me. Bulk him up some, at the moment it looks like the old dwarf just got an oversized hat and a new axe. He looks to me like a child playing viking dressup almost.

You're asking too much from a frankenstein and after all..he IS the old dwarf with a hat and axe, but i'll see what the topic owner has to say
